Initial Expectations: Victoria’s normally fun to watch and she’s put together a nice cast here. I’m curious about this one.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is pretty good and has a decent balance. Unfortunately the recording level seems a little off, as it frequently maxes out during the more vocal parts of the movie. There’s also a few background noises such as phones ringing. The video is pretty good. It’s nicely lit but does have some slight grain.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: The authoring is very poor. Rather than having one title for the entire movie, each scene has its own title. When you finish one scene, you can’t get back to it unless you go through the main menu.

Menus: The menus are okay. The main menu has a little animation and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene. There’s also a small picture of each girl with the scene that almost lets you know who’s in each scene. Sadly, the clips are also extremely pixelated.

The Feature

Victoria doesn’t have many plans for the day, but when Fabio shows up that all changes. They decide to go on an ATM Babe hunt, and set off right away. They prowl the ATMs, and when they find a babe who looks to be having problems with the machine they offer to take her to find an ATM that works.

Scene 1 - Aria, Victoria Givens, and Fabio

When Victoria and Fabio find Aria having problem with an ATM, they take her back to Victoria’s for a proper ATM. They all strip down and the girls give each other a little light attention before Aria drops to her knees to suck and stroke Fabio with a little help from Victoria. This is an okay scene. On the plus side, there’s some very nice energy and chemistry. Unfortunately, most of what happens behind the camera leaves a lot to be desired. The camera focuses very heavily on the penetration to the point that in some places if you didn’t see the face of the other girl you wouldn’t have the faintest idea who was getting fucked. I know that penetration shots are needed, but you never really get to see the enjoyment of sex on Aria and Victoria’s faces. There are also some nasty edits which interfere with things, with the worst being the cut between Aria taking the facial and then sharing it with Victoria. One instant Aria has a great face of guy goo, the next Victoria’s swapping it back to her with a kiss. Thankfully this is the worst cut in the scene, but it’s far from isolated. This is a good scene which could have been great.

Scene 2 - Selena Silver, Victoria Givens, and Jim Beam

When Selena and Victoria strip down to get to know each other better, they’re joined by Jim. This is an okay scene. It has a very basic feel, which I guess can be expected for being one of Victoria’s first times behind the camera. The energy is pretty good, and the chemistry isn’t too bad either. The camera work holds things back a bit due to things like focusing on the penetration shots so much during the anal doggie that I often had no idea who was getting fucked. There were plenty of other weak angles that gave me the feeling that somebody had a patented Ed Powers tripod on hand. It’s an average scene, and I can’t help but be a little disappointed with that level with the girls involved.

Scene 3 - Taylor Lynn, Victoria Givens, and Fabio

Victoria and Fabio bring Taylor back for a little ATM next. They strip down before Victoria attacks Taylor’s completely shaven twat with her tongue. This is an okay scene at best. The chemistry leaves a bit to be desired, and I think the cum swapping was the highlight of the scene for me. Taylor just seemed kind of lost at times, and most of the scene felt like it was shot from an unmanned tripod. It’s an okay scene, but nothing really stood out to me.

Scene 4 - Kelly Steele, Victoria Givens, and Hamilton Steele

This is another fairly simple scene, but this time it works much better. Almost all credit for this goes to Hamilton and Kelly who show off all the chemistry that one would hope for from a real life couple. There’s plenty of nastiness here, and looking at Kelly and Hamilton you can tell that it’s all natural. They almost seem to feed off each other, and it helps the scene to get far beyond where one would expect for the lackluster camera work.

Scene 5 - Cailey Taylor, Victoria Givens, and Fabio

ATM Babes is a fun idea that never gets close to what it should. It has a few nice things going for it. To start, Victoria has a funloving personality that keeps the idea behind the movie, namely picking up chicks at ATMs and taking them home for a completely different ATM, fun rather than cheesy and dumb. She’s also picked girls who look like they love ATMs and who put in some enthusiastic performances. Unfortunately, the technical work holds the movie back. There are a few scenes that I wondered if most of the action was captured using a tripod alone and others where I wondered if anybody took much more than a weekend class on how to work the camera. It’s technical things like that which holds ATM Babes back from getting much above average sexually, and thankfully there things that Victoria can hopefully improve for future movies. I think ATM Babes was the first movie Victoria directed, and it shows quite a bit of potential. It’s not a great movie, but ATM Babes is a nice diversion for fans of ass to mouth action.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Don Goo’s DVDs can be found for between about $5 and $20, with most stores offering them at the higher end. I don’t know that I’d go much above the low end here. There’s some decent sex, but the camera work and editing don’t let it get too far beyond average. The technical aspects are also a bit weak and there’s virtually no effort put into the extras.

Note to Don Goo / Victoria Givens: You have a decent idea here, and it just might work if you add a heck of a lot of polish. Also, please work on your overall DVDs, as there’s plenty of little things here that help to lower people’s impression of your DVDs.
