The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, even when Danny chats with the cast. The video is presented in the full frame ratio, and looks very nice. There's just a touch of grain, but it's very well lit.

Menus: The main menu is okay, and blends a bit of the boxcover with a small clip from the movie. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene along with a list of the ladies in each scene.

The Feature

Asswhole 3 keeps things simple. Start out with the girls giving Danny a show and letting him give them a few directions, and then move on with the sex that has an anal slant to things.

Scene 1 – Naomi and Erik Everhard

The action seems very limited with the length of the scene, and there's quite a few times when I found my head nodding as I watched it. The second is that the scene just seemed to drag. This is another okay scene that just didn't seem able to live up to its potential. It's also the weakest scene in the movie.

Scene 3 – Nadia Styles and Mr. Pete

This really surprises me since Tee seems to be a very reliable performer normally and is fairly close to the top of my list for black guys. This is a decent scene, but nothing too special.

Scene 5 – Katsumi, Sasha Knox, and Mark Ashley

Even though a slight disappointment with the girls involved here, this ends up being the best scene in the movie.

Asswhole 3 is an above average fuck flick. Danny case has always struck me as having a great love of ass, but despite having a really great cast here it rarely comes out. Yes, there's a fair amount of anal here, but I think there's more pussy fucking in the movie than ass fucking. He does a very nice job with the camera work, but there's just a little something missing here. Harmony's scene was easily the weakest here to me, and although it wasn't bad, it was so average and below what I hoped for that it ended up being a bore to me. I think Sasha and Katsumi's scene was the best, but it mainly makes it there for the girls getting into it so nicely. Asswhole 3 is far from a bad movie, but it lacks the spark and anal enthusiasm that one would expect with a cast and director like this.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Ass Breeder 3, Illegal Ass, Lick It Up 2, and Sloppy Seconds. The slide show lasts about three and a half minutes with about five seconds per very nice looking snapshot. There's also cumshot recaps, a behind the scenes featurette, and weblinks.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little over twenty minutes. Danny Case, Pat Myne's evil twin (or is he the good twin?) starts things out checking out Naomi and a nice set of tits as they lie out by the pool. The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of 3rd Degrees DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25 with a few stores offering them at the lower end. Rent this one first. There's a great cast here, but it's far from the best work for everybody involved. The technical aspects are nicely done, and there's some decent effort put into the extras. This DVD shows some nice care, but the movie didn't come close to my hopes.

Note to 3rd Degree: It's great to see you putting such nice effort into your overall DVD, but it would be nice to see you focusing more on the anal aspect with a movie like this.
