Audio /Video Quality:
As usual with North Pole's releases, the technical aspects are average at best. The audio is decent, and is pretty clear with an okay balance and no background noises to interfere with the movie. The video, however, holds the entire movie back with a poor non-anamorphic widescreen transfer. The lighting is okay and there's a decent hand on the camera, but the video has an overly soft presentation that reminded me of a second or third generation VHS copy. Put simply, the video transfer her makes it look like North Pole doesn't really give a shit about their product.

There's some decent anal action here, but the entire movie gives off a strong vibe of trying to put in the minimum effort in order to make a quick buck. The setups are completely generic, and give the scenes such a feeling of unoriginality that at one point I actually stopped the movie to check the IAFD and see if this was a compilation. The entire movie felt completely mundane, and that feeling was all the stronger due to the weak non-anamorphic video transfer. As sad as it is, the high point of this entire movie was the conversation between Zoey Monroe and Xander Corvus during their foreplay about whether or not he had to make a sandwich during his job interview to show that he was qualified for the job. Taken one scene at a time online (where it appears that you can actually get the standard anamorphic transfer) the action might be decent, but as a full DVD release with North Pole not even caring enough about the people who pay a premium to get these scenes, Assed Out 8 should be very easy to pass by.

If your main focus is going to be aiming for the lower level of average I hope you start to lower your prices to reflect the lower level product you're putting out.
