The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and nicely balanced. There’s quite a few interviews through the feature, but even though Robbie is behind the camera his voice is nicely balanced with what’s in front of the camera. The video is also very nice. It’s evenly lit and bright, but not so bright that the colors are bleached out. There were a few remnants which reared their ugly head throughout the feature, but for the most part the video shows just a sign of grain and looks very nice.

Menus: The menus are nicely done. The main menu brings together the boxcover and a few clips from the movie. The chapter menu shows some nice care by letting you jump to a scene based on the name of the girl in each scene and a nice clip of her from her scene.

The Feature

Assault That Ass 3 goes with one of the standard gonzo formats. Each scene normally starts with a little interview with the girl in the scene, and then moves on to the sex. Yes, each scene has an anal focus, but that doesn’t mean that it’s an all anal movie.

Scene 1 - Victoria, Michael Stefano, and Scott Lyons

Victoria, who’s from Berlin rather than being a berliner, starts things out talking to the camera. She keeps it up throughout the entire scene, playing to the camera just right and making this scene worth renting Assault That Ass 3 for it alone!

Scene 3 - Summer Luv, Dick Delaware, and Scott Lyons

Scene 4 - Jenni and Michael Stefano

Scene 5 - Kelly Kroft and Dick Delaware

Assault That Ass 3 is a very impressive fuck flick! The scenes have a great anal aspect, and mix it up nicely between couples and threesomes for the action. Selena Silver easily has the best scene here, but Victoria and Anika Fox also put on great performances. Kelly Kroft and Summer Luv gave the weakest scenes in the feature, as both seemed fake and forced rather than having a natural sexuality about them. The only complaint I can have about the feature as a whole is that I don’t think it got quite intense enough. With a title like Assault That Ass 3 I expected anal action pushing the limits, possibly even including a little double anal. It never gets that intense here, but was still good enough that I really enjoyed the feature. Assault That Ass 3 isn’t overly intense, but does have a lot of great anal action that should please ass freaks.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for twenty five of RLD’s other DVD releases. The photo gallery includes twenty very nice looking full screen photos and snapshots, and you can advance at your own speed through them or they’ll move forward roughly every five seconds. There’s also bonus footage, a behind the scenes featurette, and weblinks.

The bonus footage lasts just over seven minutes. Unlike the bonus footage contained on some DVDs, this is a full scene. You get to see Veronica as she sucks off a guy who you never see. He gives her directions as she sucks him, and she follows them until he explodes on her face. It’s a nice bonus scene, and a great extra.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about ten minutes. It doesn’t bother with any of the sets, but includes a short interview with each of the ladies (with the exception of Kelly Kroft) as they’re in the makeup chair. Not surprisingly, Selena Silver comes off as extremely friendly, Jenni comes off as a bit unsure and shy, and Summer Luv comes off as full of herself and mostly concerned about her own publicity. It’s a nice featurette if you want to get to see a bit more of the personality of the girls in the feature, but if you’re looking for anything beyond that, you might want to skip this.
