Initial Expectations: I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen from Jules Jordan in the past. Adding him to Evil Angel only raises my hopes higher.

Audio /Video Quality: Normally gonzo porn means that you’re going to sacrifice audio and video quality. Thanks to Evil Angel’s care about their product, that isn’t the case here. There are very few problems with either the audio or video. The audio has a few hollow or unbalanced spots, but that’s about it. The video has a couple soft focus adjustments, but there’s almost no camera shake or lighting problems.

Menus: As usual, Evil Angel has some of the best thought out menus around. The main menu is nicely done with a little bit of animation to give it a nice start. The chapter menu nicely lists the star in each chapter, which is something Evil Angel has done almost from the start. It’s a great touch and shows a lot of care for the viewer. Finally, they have a fetish menu that allows you to watch specific sex acts. This is something else that Evil Angel has done for a long time, and once again shows a lot of care for the viewer and trying to give the viewers what they want to see.

The Feature: For quite a few years now Jules Jordan has been making a name for himself as one of the best up and coming gonzo directors. For those that think he’s just another gonzo director, they should pay attention to where he started. Jordan started making movies on the East Coast rather than California, which gained him enough notice for people to get him to move out to the other coast. In Ass Worship, his initial Evil Angel offering, he continues with his style, which often has a point of view, or POV as it’s more commonly referred to, perspective.

Jules Jordan starts things out examining Bella’s amazing ass before she turns around to show off her nicely natural tits. I have to admit from the start that there’s plenty to turn me off about Bella. She has quite a few tattoos, and I think the one across the front of her shoulder is extremely gaudy. She’s also not incredibly good looking and has large gaps between her teeth that reminds me of hillbillies. Despite that, I can’t help but be in awe of this girls amazing sexuality. With the exception of Kaylee I can’t say that I was disappointed with any of the scenes, and Bella, Sandy Knight, and Jewel De’Nyle really standing out in their scenes. The direction in the scenes might not be to some people’s liking, and might take a little getting used to for those who haven’t seen Jordan’s style before. Personally, I think Jules Jordan’s focus on the woman is a kind of nice change from most other gonzo features and would highly recommend Ass Worship to anybody who enjoys anal or gonzo sex.

Extras: Starting of the extras is a complete cast list, which very nicely lists scene by scene, who’s with who. The photo gallery includes about fifty four extremely clear looking snapshots, which nicely includes the entire cast. Filmographies are included for Belladonna, Jade Marcella, Jewel De’Nyle, and Kaylee, which allows you to find out about other Evil Angel titles with the stars from this feature. There’s also a nice biography of Jules Jordan and website information.

The main extra, however, is about thirty six minutes of extra footage. It’s a nice combination of behind the scenes and cut footage. The behind the scenes contains both footage from the photo galleries being shot along with the cast screwing around a little, which gives a nice human feel to them. It lasts about ten minutes, and then leaves the remaining twenty five minutes for extra sex. The extra sex gives you a little more of each scene, as well as letting you hear the few directions the stars are given. There’s a little bit of footage that appears like it might be repeated, but not much. The possibly repeated footage also adds a little bit of continuity to the extra scenes. Not surprisingly, Jewel De’Nyle really shines once again, with Bella and Jade holding close behind. The extra footage is a great extra, and should make a lot of people very happy.

Overall: Currently, Ass Worship can be found online for between $20 (on sale) and $32 with most stores offering it around $25. This one is easily worth the big bucks, especially if you’re an anal sex fan. The sex is very hot, with only one scene lacking a little, and the transfer is great, especially for gonzo. The extras are also good, and include some extra footage.

Note to Jules Jordan / Evil Angel: The extra footage was great, but an extra menu to let you jump to specific performers would be very nice.
