Sound: Excellent. There is music in the beginning of each scene, but it fades out when the action starts or shortly after.

DVD Layout: The DVD opens with trailers, but you can press menu twice to get to the main menu. There is a main menu, a scene menu, and an alternate scene menu with the women’s names and pictures.

Overview: Asian Sex Objects is an all-sex DVD that features Asian women dressed in lingerie and dolled up in make-up. It appears to me that De Monfort has chosen a “glamour porn” style of attire and presentation instead of attempting to recreate authentic traditional Asian styles. I could be totally wrong about this since I am not an expert on what constitutes authentic traditional Asian style. He creates a visual display that works well for me, probably better than anything more authentic would.

I typically like porn where the women are dressed in lingerie and stockings and other sexy outfits, and that is what compelled me to check out this DVD. You can check out the DVD cover to get an idea of what I mean. I don’t have a particular preference for Asian women, but I am attracted to them as much as I am attracted to women of any race or ethnicity.

The women often begin the scenes as some sort of object, like an armrest, a lampshade, or a bathroom fixture. They are only inanimate for the 1st moment of each scene. If this is starting to sound too artsy-fartsy, let me reassure you that the action is captured in a straightforward manner and not hampered by strobe lights, slow motion action shots or other misguided directorial excesses.

The blowjob section of this scene is pretty hot – there is a lot of nice eye contact and relatively little choking or gagging. Most of the action is captured looking down at the women instead of from underneath them.

Once the sex starts, Loni puts on a strap on which she keeps on her for the rest of the scene. The majority of the action focuses on Kaiya and Lee, who have really nice chemistry. This also works well since the camera is not switching back and forth between the couples too frequently. In the last 5 minutes before the cumshot, the couples are side by side and the camera captures them simultaneously.

I usually don’t like strap on action, but I thought it worked pretty well here. Perhaps this is because the positions chosen showed the women riding the plastic cock, instead of the odd image of Loni with a plastic dick.

This is a hot scene from start to finish; I have already watched it several times. Maxine may have gotten a bit short changed with respect to her time on camera, but I liked what I saw of her. Figuratively, Loni functions as a guy once the sex starts because she is wearing a strap on the entire time and doesn’t get fucked by Lee. The hottest part of the scene for me was the action between Kaiya and Lee.

She looks quite appetizing and it would have been hot if Ben had decided to have a taste of her, but Ben has different ideas in mind. The inverted face fucking blowjob is the sort that makes me quickly lose interest in a scene; it’s all quacking and no slurping. I hate the quacking and want to see and hear slurping, but quacking seems to be all the rage in porno these days. She can’t really do much else in the inverted position, laying on her back with her bed bent over the edge of the table.

The vaginal section of the scene is too brief and the tit slapping doesn’t excite me. Believe it or not, the scene actually goes down hill from here. The several minutes of toy play seem like a step back in a boy/girl scene; I don’t know why it is here. Eventually the anal toys are replaced with Ben’s cock, but Ben and Keeani never seem to get a good groove going. The action is choppy with a lot of starting, stopping, and pulling out. I was glad when this scene was over. Based on this scene, I was surprised to find that Keeani is not new to anal sex; she doesn’t appear to be very comfortable here.

This scene has many elements of what I don’t like about much of porn today – preposterous macho-man posturing, gagging, quacking, face fucking, and zero real heat. Even if you like the macho man stuff and the quacking, there doesn’t seem to be much hot action here.

I usually like extended blowjob segments in the beginning of a scene but this one really doesn’t turn me on due to all the quacking. Much of it also shot from below, which I don’t really like either.

Once the sex starts, the action between Gianna and Bret is pretty hot. The camera captures the action diagonally to fit all of Gianna on the screen during the reverse cowgirl. Although I liked being able to see all of her, the diagonal angle seemed awkward to me.

Luckily, things improve dramatically once the sex starts. Annie is a strong performer and the camera captures it pretty well. The pile driver anal is shot from behind, so there is some HMA (hairy man ass), but this doesn’t last too long. Alex is a relatively new guy (he started in 2004) who does a good job; he is usually suitably vigorous and not overbearing or too loud, and he keeps the focus on his partners and is not distracting.

Conclusion: This was a pretty good although somewhat uneven DVD for me; it started out great, quickly lost momentum but then got back on track for the final two scenes. The main attractions for me were the appearance and presentation of the female performers. I liked the lingerie and make up and a lot of the sex was pretty hot. I don’t like the quack-quack blowjob style, but it is unfortunately difficult to avoid in recent porn releases. With a few improvements this could be the start of a very solid series. It's good enough to make me interested in checking out some more of De Monfort's movies.

Note To Director/Editor: There are a few places where you start or stop shooting when performers are saying things like “Hold it – I need more lube” or the director says “Action!” It’s not a big deal, but I am mentioning this in case it was unintentional. Also, one woman in a small picture on the back of the DVD cover is not in the DVD.

Extras:
Behind The Scenes (8:20): The was a pretty good BTS. We learn that Chris and Nyomi are roommates, and we see Kianna and Lee together screwing before the scene starts. There is some other fairly interesting information as well.
