Initial Expectations: I haven’t seen a lot from Hustler, so I’m still trying to keep an open mind and get a feel for them.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio and video are pretty good. The audio is clear and well balanced without any background noises, but there are a couple instances with a little dubbing. The video has some very slight grain to it, but is even out to the edge of the screen. There’s a few lighting problems here and there, but they only rarely interfere with the scene.

Music: The music has a twangy Oriental feel to it that fits the feature great. It’s also nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, but isn’t constant throughout every scene.

Menus: The menus are pretty standard. The main menu has a small clip of the movie in the background while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a title for the scene.

The Feature: Asian Fever 7 is a collection of scenes with girls of the Asian persuasion. Each scene stands on its own, and they normally have a short lead-in to the scene. The cast isn’t listed before each scene, but there’s nicely done credits at the end which let you know who’s in each scene.

Leslie Taylor and Nick Lang happen to walk through the woods just at the right time. They see Pim as she stumbles and falls at the edge of the surf. They help her over to their blanket and urge her to lay down so she can recover and more importantly, so they can boink her. She appreciatively sucks Leslie’s cock while Nick eats and then fucks her bald beaver. The guys trade off fucking and getting sucked by Pim before Leslie works her into a little anal followed by a double penetration and a double facial. Pim seems to enjoy herself pretty well throughout the scene, but never gets overly vocal. Tolly Crystal takes on Nick Lang in the middle scene after having Alex Rox serve them a couple glasses of wine. They start out with some light kissing and caressing as they explore each other before a peeping Alex decides to join them. They all quickly strip down, with Tolly sucking Nick’s cock while Alex goes straight to fucking her ass from behind. Asian Fever 7 is going to make a lot of fans of Oriental women very happy. The setups are quick and normally enjoyable. The sex focuses mostly on group sex, but there’s a little of everything here. The girls are cute, and all of them are natural with Tolly Crystal and Cheryl Dynasty turning in the two hottest scenes in the feature and Tia following close behind. The scenes are all fairly short, but move along nicely and never get bogged down. Asian Fever 7 is a well done fuck flick, but I’m not sure if it will help put off your Asian fever for a little while or just make it worse.

Extras: Information is included for the Hustler website and magazine. The photo gallery lasts about a minute and a half with about six seconds per nice looking full screen photo or snapshot, while the box cover gallery lets you have a look at all the covers in the Asian Fever series. Finally, there’s a profile of director Ray Anderson and a behind the scenes featurette.

The profile of director Ray Anderson lasts about twelve minutes, and is more of a behind the scenes featurette for Asian Fever 2 than anything. There are quite a few comments from Ray Anderson, who you never see other than his shadow, over the action, but even that doesn’t seem to be a primary focus of the featurette. The star interviews focus a bit more on Ray, but even those are few and far between. This is a nice glimpse at the making of Asian Fever 2, but nowhere close to what I’d consider a decent profile of Ray Anderson.

Finally, there’s a five minute behind the scenes featurette, hosted by Sula Long who directed the great Young & Black 3. Sula interviews Tia, since it’s her adult debut, and also talks to Ray about working with her. Sadly, she’s the focus of the entire featurette, which is too bad since Sula does a great job looking at Tia. I would have really liked to have seen what else she could have done with a full behind the scenes featurette.

Overall: Currently, the Asian Fever series can be found online for between $17 and $26 with most stores offering them for around $20. If you’re a fan of Oriental women, you’re going to be very happy here. There’s a nice variety to the scenes, as well as a good transfer and decent extras.

Note to Hustler: You have a good start here, but the features seem a little short for the price stores are having to ask.
