| Prologue The Asian Fever line is one of Hustler's best known and most venerable. There have been many directors, and locales ranging from Thailand to Van Nuys. The latest to try his hand at delivering the delicate flowers of the Orient is Kevin Moore. He's got an Evil Angel pedigree as an assistant for both Joey Silvera and John Leslie (I think), and done some directing for Pulse and Smash, Secretary's Day being the most notable of recent titles. The ever stunning Nautica Thorn is front and center on the cover, but with the exception of Jazmine Leih, I'm not familiar with the rest of the cast, although I have heard some good things about Jandi Lin and her escapades with Manuel Ferrara. Let's see what style Moore brings to these proceedings. |

| Epilogue Starting with a decidedly inauspicious beginning, making me wonder if this would be an exercise in tedium. The second scene righted the ship, dipping a bit in the third, but taking off with Jandi Lin. Nautica Thorn was a lovely end, but Jandi is the must see of this TV. I can forgive Ashlin Van for being a newbie, but I couldn't get past the distraction of her surgically marred body because she couldn't get past the distraction of the camera. A lot to expect of a girl who's been in the industry a month prior to this shoot and couldn't remember the number of her b/g scenes, which she estimated at three. I loved the way Jasmine Leih and Kyanna Lee went at it, with each other and the prodigious tool of Rico. Sasha Hollander also had some new girl flaws, but got refocused and put in a credible scene. Jandi Lin came to get slammed, and with Steve Holmes leading the charge, put in an electric performance. Nautica Thorn was gorgeous and proactive. This would be an average scene by her standards, as I've seen better and worse. All the scenes but the first suffered from overediting, and that one not, only because I couldn't wait till it ended. If this was a feature where people are expected to digest the whole video in one sitting, I could understand the quick cuts, but unless you're renting and in a hurry to get it back, it's unlikely that you'll need to watch it all in one piece. So why the short running time? At least a couple of these scenes would have benefitted from a looser touch. There was enough going on in the threesomes to make some transitional sex a good idea. Overall, a good effort despite the flaws. |
