Asian Fever 11 Review

I like Asian girls, so I’m watching Hustler’s “Asian Fever 11” and thinking maybe I’ve hit something pretty good because the first scene has something. It’s not a what, it’s a who—but whom the who is is anybody’s guess since nobody bothered to identify the girls in this movie. There is a cast list, though, and the first name on it is Nem, so maybe that’s her. And what Nem has is a convincing desire for sex and loads of confidence. Without recourse to dirty talk or violence, she quietly dominates the scene (and her partner) in the way a porn starlet should—and just let the guy keep pace. Nem takes the cowgirl position to heart. Oh, it’s still inside the box porn, but it’s good inside the box porn, and Nem, at least, is pushing at the sides.

You know, there’s not another girl in the cast that has what Nem has, and that includes Kaylani Lei, whose scene in “Babes Illustrated 12” was a smoker (although, come to think of it, it was Sabrine Maui who provided most of the sparks in that scene). The other four girls aren’t docile, they just aren’t as hot to get theirs as Nem is. So the guys have to carry the other scenes, and the girls become that much more objectified because of it. I like to look at a pretty girl, but that’s what “Playboy” is for; in porn, I want that beauty intensified by sexual dynamism. So what I’m saying is, director Ray Anderson wins the first hand but ends up breaking even on the night.

For my money, his biggest gamble is the second scene. It’s an MMF threesome that begins with shots of the three (Yoko, maybe, and Frank Gunn and Terminator) wandering about an Asian location shooting home movies with a video camera. Back at their place, they watch the tape and start screwing. What’s weird about this scene is that the setup is so mundane that it makes these three look like a couple, if you take my meaning; a spontaneous threesome is one thing, but these guys are into a whole lifestyle. Maybe this kind of stuff doesn’t occur to you when you’re watching porn, but it occurs to me—and I’m looking at this scene thinking, Jeez, for these guys sloppy seconds is a way of life. That aside, Yoko pretty much exists here to be filled up, and the guys dutifully fill her every hole, eventually working their way around to double-penetration.

The rest of the movie is strictly boy/girl. It’s basic, but the girls are the best-looking in the movie. Ba, in the last scene, is probably prettier than Kaylani, but Kaylani’s tattoo is much less of a distraction than Ba’s. Nan loses points thanks to a comet-like welt on her inner right thigh. All things being equal, though, the prettier the woman the better the scene, so it comes as no surprise that Kaylani’s scene is the best of the three, Ba’s the next best, and Nan’s comes in third.

I don’t suppose you really need me to describe the sex in each of these scenes; I mean, if you’ve seen a porn movie or two in your day, you can probably imagine the shenanigans on your own. I do want to point out one thing, though, because it tends to change from girl to girl, movie to movie. Ray Anderson somehow managed to cram his cast full of girls who take facials pretty calmly. They, the girls, aren’t enthusiastic, but they are calm, and that makes a difference. Only Nan looks a little uncomfortable, but then she looks uncomfortable just giving head.
