The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is very clear and very well balanced, although there are a couple spots where it gets a little scratchy. The video is just as good, with scenes that are nicely lit and which barely have any grain or camera motion. This is a very nice looking feature.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp on the DVD, which always leaves me feeling a bit let down. After I watch a movie the first time I often like to jump around in it, and with the time stamp you can go to any point in the movie. Without it you’re limited to chapter breaks. Legend seems to be putting some nice effort into their recent releases, so I hope that this soon becomes a thing of the past.

Menus: The main menu nicely blends a bit of the movie with some style and a little John Phillip Sousa. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number, as well as choosing between the oral, anal, and cumshot in the scene.

The Feature

The Johnson boys are back, and they’re ready to give your pants a reason to salute. The Army of A*S*S* is here, and the girls are ready to take command. Scene 4 - Lyla Lei and Trevor

Army of Ass 3 is yet another winner in Grip and Cram Johnson’s anal series. Unlike most anal themed movies, the ass is the focus of almost the entire movie rather than having a vaginal scene with maybe a minute or two of anal action at the end of it. Here, you get an ass tease to start, and you might not even get a blowjob before the girl takes it in the ass. Most of the oral action even keeps an anal emphasis by having plenty of ass to mouth action for the oral portions of the movie. Grip and Cram keep things simple and formulaic, but here it works. There’s a fun feel to the scenes and their blend of camera angles is almost exactly what I normally want to see. You don’t get to see much of the guys, but they never make it feel like they’re trying to avoid the guys either. The only hiccup in this release was Lyla Lei. I know a lot of people really like her, but her trash talking always seems forced to me and she played to the camera a little much as well. Army of Ass 3 is another anal release from Grip and Cram Johnson worth surrendering yourself to.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about a minute and a half with about five seconds per good looking snapshot or full screen photo. Bios are included for each of the girls, which include a photo and a little personal information. Finally, there’s a behind the scenes featurette, internet information, and production notes like none other out there!

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about fourteen and a half minutes. After a chat with Steven French about running away to France, they chat with Gia Paloma both before and after her scene, including getting her to flash her titties. They move on to talk with Kami about the men in a porn star’s life and how they affect her before a few words with her after the shoot. Gia Jordan is next, with a bathroom conversation and picking up day workers, before Lyla works on her lines. As usual, it’s a fun behind the scenes featurette that’s well worth checking out. Heck, it’s worth checking out just for the conversation with Kami, which is a riot. There’s lots of other laughs as well, and plenty of letting the porn stars be themselves. This is a very nice behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Skintight’s DVDs can be found online for between about $13 and $20, with several stores offering them for under $15. As usual, Skintight puts out a movie that’s well worth the lower end if you’re into whatever the focus is for their movie. There’s nice chemistry and energy in the scenes, very good technical aspects, and some nice energy put into the extras. As usual, Skintight delivered a very nice DVD.
