Any Man Can Be...Hard Up Review

After producing their first production in over ten years with Devil Inside, HIS video returns for another film with Hard Up. If the improvement seen in this video over the previous one is any indication of what is in store for the future, things could be looking up for the studio. There are five scenes in this 75 minute film and while that does seem short compared to other studios, truth be told, you don’t need a 2 hour film to put out a hot video.

Each scene has its own story and no one scene ties into another one. In the first scene, Jason Crew, wearing only a jock strap, is being sucked off by Mark Hansford who is wearing a matching yellow jock strap. Jason is pretty aggressive here as he grabs Mark by the back of the head forcing his mouth down harder on his dick. The guys lose the jocks and Mark is laying back while Jason sucks on his dick. This blowjob is pretty short as after a minute or two of sucking, Mark blows his load. They move to fucking as Jason is drilling his salt and peppered haired bottom missionary style on the couch. Jason has never been a favorite of mine in terms of his looks, but you have to give him props for his aggressive behavior on film. Jena Val Jean, who is featured on the DVD box cover, opens the fourth scene in his signature sunglasses wearing an open shirt and jacket. Josh Carter is on his knees at the seated Jean’s feet. Since he doesn’t kiss, suck, or even touch the other guy’s dick, he doesn’t really have much more to offer. I am really disappointed that he keeps the jacket and shirt on for most of the scene. I don’t understand why Jim Steel does not have him strip early in the scene as the other performers have done so we at least have some eye candy here. Josh sits up in the chair and with his legs hiked up. Jean starts fucking him in a way so as to not touch him any more than he has to. Editing really fucks up here as we see Jean with the shirt and jacket on, then naked, then clothed, then naked, etc. Josh keeps his hands over his dick so we have yet to really see his body. This is all a shame as these two are two of the hottest looking performers in this film. They change to some doggy style fucking and I am beginning to think we will never see Josh’s dick until he starts shooting his cum load while being fucked. Jean sprays Josh’s butt with his cum load.

For the final scene hot stud Justin Wells is back with John Marcus, another hot muscled dude. They are playing pool, but stop their game to start kissing and removing shirts. Extras for this DVD include a slide show, trailers from other videos, website information, and a production diary. I really enjoy Jim’s production diary detailing much of what took place during the filming and even events leading up to the filming.

I was impressed with this being a 75-minute movie and having the amount of sex it had in it. If I had to criticize anything here, it would be the fourth scene. Jean is apparently gay for pay and not willing to go very far here. If his body is nothing more than a fucking machine or prop, then use it to its advantage and get him naked quick and the let his partner work his mouth and hands over it. The video does not waste time in long sucking or fucking scenes that people will likely fast forward through anyway. It's worth adding to your library.
