Initial Expectations: I can’t think of a single Jonni Darkko movie that’s disappointed me. It’s taken me way to long to check out his Evil Angel debut, and I can’t have anything but sky high expectations!

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are extremely well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, but there was a ringing phone in the background at one point late in the movie as well as a split second where you can hear the performers being given a little direction. The video is just as good. It’s very well lit and has just a hint of softness to give it a slightly artistic look.

Music: The music has a porno feel, but at the same time feels unique and very well done. The balance between the music and the rest of the audio varies as the movie goes on, and it helps to strengthen both of them.

Menus: As usual, Evil Angel has put some nice effort into their menus. The main menu blends a bit of the movie with some nice animation. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the names of the ladies in each scene. Finally, there’s the fetish menu which lets you jump directly to specific sex acts such as tease, anal, or cumshots.

The Feature

After opening credits which nicely identify each and every lady in the movie, Jonni gets on to what he does best. Each scene starts out with a bit of tease before moving on to the sex. Yes, it’s a simple formula, but with Jonni behind the camera you know it’s going to be beautifully captured with plenty of tease.

Scene 1 - Lauren Phoenix and Mark Ashley

This is a hot and beautifully shot scene that opens up the Evil Angel chapter in Jonni Darkko’s career very well.

Scene 2 - Alexis Malone, Jennifer Luv, and Mark Ashley

Scene 3 - Taylor Rain and Jack Lawrence

Scene 5 - Katrina Kraven and Chris Charming

Angels of Debauchery is a very nice Evil Angel debut for Jonni Darkko. As his fans are used to, he’s put together a cast with plenty of chemistry that obviously loves to fuck. The sex is fairly consistent throughout the movie, and I don’t know if I could pick out a best or worst scene without doing a random grab. He’s also captured it with a fairly straightforward yet artistic eye. Jonni uses a handheld style to capture the action, and almost always seems to be on the move if you pay attention. If you’re not paying attention, the camera just seems to hover around the sex eating it up and giving you a great mix of closeups, pans, and distance shots that seemed perfectly balanced to me. Like any master of his trade, Jonni also makes it look easy and effortless. Angels of Debauchery is a very hot movie that manages to capture dirty sex beautifully.

The Extra Stuff

In addition to a cast listing by scene, filmographies are included for the entire female cast. The photo gallery includes nearly fifty great looking snapshots. There’s also weblinks and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts well over a half hour and is captured by Brother Luv. Taylor Rain starts things off with an interview, talking on her cell phone about how her ex-hubby is in jail again, posing for still photos, and shooting her scene. Kaylynn follows her up with a few words while she gets dressed as well as getting her ass fluffed by Jonni. This is a very worthwhile behind the scenes featurette.

Currently, most Evil Angel releases can be found online for between $18 and $28 with many stores offering them for around $20. Not surprisingly, this one’s well worth the money. The sex is hot and beautifully captured and the technical aspects are very well done. There’s even some very nice effort put into the extras to make this a very well done DVD all around.
