Overall Impression
I was not really sure what to expect from this disc, but I have always been a big Laura angel fan so I was exited to see what her new series was all about. Angelmania is apparently the first in a new series of gonzo films from this Euro vixen for Metro. With the exception of the first and third scene I found this disc a little bit disappointing. That said there were some things I really liked on this DVD and with some improved production values this could blossom into a solid series.

Scene 1 Laura Angel
I really did enjoy this scene! The scene begins with Laura interviewing Steve for her film and soon becomes a real hands on audition. Having seen so many of her European films it has been rare to hear her speaking so much in english during a sex scene, and let me tell you it is a real treat to hear her speak in that accent. Laura has gotten a bit older over the years and may not be in her prime, but is still a total hottie, and makes up for what she has lost in looks with amazing on screen presence and sexual appetite. She delivers an impressive BJ with lots of eye contact. We then get to see this seasoned performer take it in missionary, spoon, cowgirl, anal cowgirl, anal reverse cowgirl, and anal spoon. I have to say I though this way a scorching performance, especially the anal positions and the scene ends with a nice facial. Aprox 26 min

Scene 2 Sandra Russo & Fatima Oneill
This scene stars two couples Sandra and George and Fatima with Steve. I did enjoy the way Laura introduces the performers in this scene, by talking to them first and setting the mood. You will notice Laura kind of hangs around in most of the scenes commenting on the action even getting involved a little bit. Soon everybody is going at it, both girls do anal and DPs, and the girls switch partners at some point. The scene is ok, Sandra is nice to watch as usual, and the action is good, but the camera work just is not there. Aprox 33min

Scene 3 Vannesa Desir & Venus
Laura escorts these two Euro hotties on leashes behind bars, so they can wait for Max. I really did find these two girls attractive, both of them seemed very into the sex, and these two get a fairly hard pounding from Max. This a hot and nasty two on one. Aprox 30min

Scene 4 Yanna, Katka, & Petra (I think?)
The girls are ok and the action is ok, but this 3 on 1 just did not do much for me. It really suffered from poor production values. Aprox 20min

Scene 5 ??????
This one on one is nothing special, not really the way to finish the disc strong. Not a bad scene but once again it just didn't do it for me. Aprox 16min

Final Thoughts Maybe I am being a bit hard on this disc, but after having just watched a Jules Jordan DVD this disc just is not in the same league. However there are some good girls and some hot sex, the problem is the camera was not always doing the best job of capturing it. Basically this disc has some quality sex lots of anal like you would expect from a good gonzo title. It is just to bad more attention wasn't paid to the details, like lighting, sets, sound, wardrobe, or composition. I know it is just a low budget gonzo film, but those are the things that separate the pros from the hoes. If you are a Laura Angel fan I do recommend checking this one out, or if you are a big fan of Euro gonzo there is a good chance you could enjoy this as well. I am hoping there will be a next installment because I think the series shows potential, if they can raise the quality control up a notch.
