NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty average for an amateur release. The audio is actually very good, as it's nicely balanced with very few background noises to interfere. The video is presented in the full frame format, and the lighting varies from nicely done to a bit on the dark side. There's also a little grain and camera motion, but neither of these things are too unusual for an amateur release.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner for the first scene and the upper right corner for the second scene. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six stills.

The Feature

Angelica Mail Order Bride 1 is a darn hot amateur release. Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. This isn't too bad a price for what you get here as an amateur release. There's a nice mix of action and the technical aspects aren't too bad. There's also a bit of effort put into the extras with the clips from other movies. This is a very nice amateur release that's definitely worth checking out.
