Initial Expectations: Jonni Darko really impressed me with Anal Trainer 1, and I’m looking for more of the same here!

Initial Reaction: It’s good, but does suffer a bit from sequel-itis.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are excellent. The audio is clear, well balanced, and I don’t think I heard a single background noise. It does appear that there’s a little dubbing, but it’s fairly mild. The video is every bit as good. It’s well lit and extremely clear. I don’t think I noticed any camera shake and there’s so few soft focus blurs that they aren’t even worth mentioning.

Music: There’s a little music, but it’s very different and fits the feature well. It has a bit of a techno or urban feel, and is balanced almost perfectly with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The menus are fairly unimpressive. The main menu has a little animation, but is mostly a shot of the boxcover with a little minor animation thrown in. The chapter menu is very unimpressive, and lets you choose a scene based on a clip of each scene which is too small to even have an idea which scene you’re picking unless you’ve seen the movie a few times already.

The Feature

Jonni Darko goes after the obvious with Anal Trainer. Every scene concentrates on anal, and in some the pussy is completely ignored except for the girl rubbing it while getting cornholed. You don’t have to worry about any kind of lead-in or plot in any of the scenes, just sit back and enjoy the anal action!

Scene 1 - Sabrine Maui and Mark Ashley

Sabrine starts things out diddling herself before she’s discovered by Mark. He plays with her pussy and eats her ass before warming up her ass with a couple fingers. She puts some nice energy and vocals into the scene, and makes this s very good way to start out this installment of Anal Trainer.

Scene 2 - Taylor Rain and Trent Tesoro

Taylor starts things out in a pink net top and a pair of pink and white hotpants. She gives Trent a show as he sits in an antique style chair, and gets right to the point by shoving a few fingers into her ass after her panties come down. She lets Trent work his tongue around her pucker and slide a buttplug into it before he spanks her and has her take his cock into her throat. This is a hot scene and finally has me seeing why so many people are so impressed with Taylor Rain!

Scene 3 - Faith Grant and Mark Ashley

Dirty blonde hottie Faith starts her scene out bent over so that Mark can play with her pussy and ass. This was a great scene that left me with just a hint of mixed emotions. Faith turns in some excellent energy throughout the scene, but her vocals got to me a little. They might have been real, but they seemed to be just a little too much at times. Her constant nub rubbing also got to me as it left me feeling that she didn’t completely enjoy anal. These are minor complaints as it is a very hot scene, but they’re still things that stuck out to me.

Scene 4 - Brandi Lyons and Ben English

Brandi, who’s well known for having the suitcase pimp who most resembles a crack whore, starts things out in the penultimate scene dancing for Ben in front of a patio door. She comes over to suck his cock before letting him tongue and finger her ass. Ben fucks her pussy before making Brandi beg for some anal action, and then pounds her posterior from behind. This is an okay scene. I know that Brandi has a following, but she doesn’t do much of anything to me. She strikes me as nearly anorexic, and the razor burn or rash around her pussy and panty line stuck out to me like a sore thumb. She also seemed to look at the camera for direction a bit much, and worse she does it in a way which made it feel like she was playing for the camera rather than really into the sex. She handles Ben’s size and energy extremely well, but like I said, this is a performer who doesn’t do anything for me and my enjoyment of the scene couldn’t get past it.

Scene 5 - Violet Blue and Chris Cannon

Violet starts out the final scene looking hotter than fuck in black and nude stockings, black lingerie, and black gloves. This is a very different scene from what I’ve watched of the Anal Trainer series. The driving anal sex is gone, and is replaced with slow and deliberate sex. Violet does a great job in playing to the camera here, and actually kept me from reaching for the remote. Chris, however, leaves no doubt in my mind as to why you don’t see him in gonzo features. I’ve seen machines show more emotion than he does here! It’s just one slow steady pace from him without any emotion, and it really speaks well of Violet to get this scene as far as she did.

Anal Trainer 2 lacks a bit compared to the original, but is still a hot anal feature. The first three scenes are easily the best here, but there’s a bit more variety here as well. Violet Blue turns in a nicely artistic scene that has a slow feeling that I had yet to see from Jonni Darko, while Sabrine Maui and Taylor Rain start things off nice and hot. Although part of me loves it, the variety is also the biggest problem with Anal Trainer 2. Although scenes like Violet’s expand my confidence in Jonni Darko’s abilities, they don’t mesh with the rest of the movie (or the series for that matter). The feel out of place here despite a heavy anal emphasis in the scenes, and left me a bit disappointed. I was also turned off by Brandi Lyons, who has yet to do much for me, and thought that the chemistry lacked a bit in a couple of the scenes. Anal Trainer 2 is a good anal movie, but lacks a bit in some areas.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for nine of Digital Sin’s features, ten of their My Plaything titles, and fourteen of their all sex lines. The photo gallery contains about three dozen very nice looking snapshots and full screen photos. You can advance through them at your own speed or they’ll advance on their own roughly every five seconds. There’s also company and website information and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about six minutes. You get a little bit of time with Sabrine Maui, Taylor Rain, and Violet Blue, as well as a couple of the guys. The girls talk with Jonni about their scene and give a bit of an interview before you get to see a little of them in action. It’s an okay behind the scenes, but nothing to lose sleep over if you miss it.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Digital Sin DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $29 with many stores offering them for around $20. This one’s worth it at the low end, but I don’t know if I’d pay more than that. The sex lacks a bit in places, but the technical aspects are nicely done and there’s an okay behind the scenes featurette to round out the DVD.

Note to Digital Sin: It’s great to see you actually put a little effort into the DVD by including a behind the scenes featurette! I hope this continues so that your DVDs as a whole can stand up to the same level as some of your recent movies.
