Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects don't quite make it to the average mark. The audio is the biggest offender, and within the first minute of the movie, you get to hear a burp from the cameraman. There are quite a few other background noises from camera noises to traffic that are more than noticeable and definitely interfere with the movie. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks okay. There's a bit of camera motion, inconsistent lighting, and grain, but it's not nearly as weak as the audio is.
Watermark Warning:
Anal First Timers has a watermark for JWTies that's not the best. It's quite bright, which I don't particularly like, as well as moving around a bit from scene to scene. On the plus side, it is fairly small and stays in the same place for each scene.

As a fan of amateur, or I guess more correctly homemade porn, I had some hopes for this one and the more I watched it the less I cared about it. There were a few good moments, as both anal cream pies appeared to be real, Emma Evins did a nice job taking it up the ass and playing into the daddy fantasy, and Terra Coxx seemed like a very fun girl, but most everything else about this one crashed and burned for me. All of the girls gave a strong stripper vibe, and Krysten and Penny both seemed like they were coming from the lower tier of strip clubs and neither had a look that did anything for me. JW also gave off a creepy vibe that didn't do a lot for me that didn't help any of the scenes and it was hard to take the first time anal theme too seriously with Krysten starting out her scene talking about how much she loves anal sex. From start to finish, however, the movie just seemed beyond sloppy and amateurish (and not in the good kind of amateur porn way). The camera work is weak and plagued by background noises from conversations behind the camera to excessive still camera noise to not seeming like anyone new how to edit the scenes to make them better. This was especially true with Terra's scene, as her not being able to finish the scene and having some of the audio left in as the camera just panned away to things like a family photo really helped the movie to nosedive at the end for me. Anal First Timers definitely gave me a memorable first impression for Desperate Pleasures, but it wasn't a good one.
