I have been honored to shoot for great directors like Mason, Brandon Iron, Michael Stefano, Joey Silvera, Kat Slater, Axel Braun, Skeeter Kerkove, and, of course, Evolution Erotica's founder Tom Byron for his upcoming release Sodomy Sandwiches as well as many others. I loved working with all of them for the experience of working with a great director, to be in one of their movies, and for what working with those directors would do for my career. I would shoot for anyone of them again in a heartbeat over and over. But, I want to be in a Guy Capo movie strictly for me. I want to have that memory forever. That is how good his debut film is.

American Gunk is a MUST addition to any porn collection. I am not saying that all porn should be made this way - it should definitely not. But, this is fresh, this is cutting-edge, this is brilliant. This is a porn movie so entertaining you can watch it from start to finish in one sitting. And, you probably will. It is more like watching a collection of music videos with great hardcore action in them mixed with parody and politics. It has a message. It has heart and guts. It has jack-off potential everywhere. It turned me on, it inspired it, it angered me. American Gunk is the first film I have made a Selena Silver Pick of the Week to earn the 5.0 stars rating.

I have been speaking with Guy Capo for a while; I am meeting him for the first time today. I will be sure and update you in the ADT forum about what he is like, what it was like working with him, and what he has planned next. American Gunk is his first EVER released film. When you see it, you will see why Gene Ross said "I curse Capo by pronouncing him a porno wunderkind". And why he goes on to say:

I am really proud to own a copy of American Gunk; I will probably watch it more than any other movie in my collection over time and will share it with way more people than any other movie I own. Just wait till you see me when I have a copy of a Guy Capo movie I am in. Just wait...

1. This is a must own DVD. It is so unique and different from the other movies in your collection. It has a great message. It is a statement film. It is such a great ride watching it. Pure entertainment. Get this movie.

2. I love Guy Capo's style of film-making. As I mentioned earlier, not all porn should be made this way. I love watching other styles as well. But, to have this style that could actually please the feature-lover and the gonzo-lover at the same time - that is quite an accomplishment. It is just so cool. Guy Capo is going to make some ground-breaking films. Get used to hearing his name.

3. One of the secrets of the success of this film is that you don't feel like you are watching porn. This breaks every rule you have learned about how to shoot a porn from watching the top gonzo porn directors. There is no formula you are used to seeing. It feels like you are sitting back a a club with great music blasting away watching real people going at it.

4. The whole movie (with the exception of dialogue spots) has music. All of it is original and all of it fits the scene very well. Those of you who have been begging for good music in your porn movies will love this. The soundtrack is great.

5. The DVD was released by Evolution Erotica so it is a 2 Disc, top quality, beautifully packaged DVD. I love the product EE is putting out. I discussed EE's packaging in great detail in my review of their first release Meat Pushin in the Seat Cushion. The packaging is the best in the business right now. I love the quality you get since every EE release is a 2 Disc release.

6. The DVD extras were outstanding. Instead of items of little value, the extras on the second disc are very entertaining and interesting. They were "extras" and I loved watching them. Make sure you don't miss them.

7. I loved the American Gunk montage both at the start of the movie and between the scenes. It was well-edited, interesting, and was a great reminder that this movie is making a statement as well as entertaining us.

8. This movie has total "socially redeeming qualities". It is a real piece of art that is making a political statement about Free Speech in a brilliant way. It made me want to do something right then to protect my rights. Amazing that I could get turned on watching the film and then want to go take action after I was done. It should almost be given to every filmmaker in the business (at least all the new ones coming into the business).

9. It is a perfect time for this movie to be released. Most porn movies don't have a good or bad time to be released. They are just entertainment. This movie is coming out a time when the industry is on alert from attacks on our rights to free speech; a time where prosecutions are happening as you are reading this and there are more to come. This is a time when we are going to have to protect our rights to Free Speech. This movie will help get you energized in doing that.

10. This is the first 5.0 rating I have given a film. I know that doesn't mean that much (I mean I have only done 6 Pick of the Weeks so far!). But, as time goes by you will see how few will get that rating. It meant something to me.

Now on to the porn itself....

So, I encourage you to publicly voice your dissatisfaction with this intolerable intrusion into your rights and demand that you be respected enough to think for yourself- free from Governmental Intervention. Please accept my apology for the deletion of this scene and I thank you for considering American Gunk to be part of your effort to insure the freedom of speech.

You might be wondering what the deleted scene was, right? Well, strategic clips of it were playing on the screen behind Guy as he spoke those words you have just read. You will know from those clips what the scene was. And, I for one, do NOT understand why you can't feel safe showing that scene in this country today. That is just ridiculous! And, to make it worse... the scene looks so DAMN sexy!!!

Guy Capo does give instructions here in the movie how to be able to obtain and view a copy of the deleted scene. I will just say that any scene with Ashley Blue tied up sounds good to me - LOL - but, that the clips you see in the movie will definitely make you want to see it. You should probably take the steps Guy suggested in the DVD to get the scene without Guy being afraid that he will be prosecuted for 50 years in jail for shooting it for you.

By the way, the element of the scene that is "forbidden" in America today wasn't even intended. Apparently the two actors in the scene got so INTO it that they just kind of went for it without it even being planned. Yeah, that makes me want to see it even more too. And, yes again - I will get to actually see it because Guy will play it for me. The perks of being a porn girl! :)

I will say this - the American Government is required to take a piece of work "as a whole" to determine whether it is obscene or not; they are not allowed to take a segment or clip of it to try to establish that just a bit of it was obscene. This scene combined with the very strong political message in the "deleted scene commentary" and in the still to come "Gag Sequence" (scene 6) establish this as an important work of art with a VERY strong political message. This is a movie with socially redeeming values; it also happens to be a fucking awesome stroke flick!

If you LOVE the reality TV shows like "The Bachorlette", "Married by America", "Joe Millionaire", and "For Love or Money" so much that you can't stand someone pointing out their flaws in the light of what the government says can't be shown in porn movies you should probably not read the rest of this scene description.

The scene opens with a close-up of Guy Capo's face as he tells that he "had to cut the best scene in the film just to appease a standard that has no consistency and which no one can explain to me". The title screen comes up for Guy Capo's parody of reality television shows called "Molested by America". It is really drawing from the shows I mentioned above. The two have obviously come on a television show in which the American viewers would pick their partner to marry. Gen tells us that she "trusts the American Public" to make that choice for her.

A voiceover asks: "What happens when you take a cunt on the hunt for Mr. Right and set her up with Mr. Wrong? Throw in an enormous secret and a twist ending you never expected and you have.... Married by America."

Hmm... sounds like most of those shows so far...

The show begins: Trista and Ian meet. She is VERY excited to meet him and they make the typical small talk you have seen on every one of these shows. Guys flashes some hilarious statistics up on the screen as this scene unfolds. I would buy this movie just for this scene already, but adding that touch of humor in just the right place was SO awesome.

He leans in to ask her what she likes to do. She gives the standard Cosmo answer of candlelight, walks on the beach, and a man who treats her right. She asks him what he likes. The photo gallery has the same controls as the other EE discs in that you can set it to Auto-Play or you can User-Control the experience. I LOVE that design and the pictures there were nice, but there really weren't much of them. I also didn't like that some where full-screen and some were less than half-screen. It was distracting and made the half-screen pictures look bad. Room for improvement here.

A Piece of Her Mind: Felicia Fox Interview: 3:08

Just this one thing would make you run to get the DVD version instead of the VHS. Guy Capo was a regular guy with a lot of talent and no funding. He had the guts to film (for less than $500) a short film he could send to all the adult studios in LA to try and get one interested in backing and distributing his films. He made the film; he sent it out. Evolution Erotica and Tom Byron responded to that film and that is how Guy Capo made American Gunk.

Guy put that demo film on this DVD. It is so interesting to watch. You can see how fast Tom must have acted to get Guy before anyone else did. That short film was awesome. I LOVED the demo tape. Guy is really living the American dream. He came from nowhere with just his talent and willingness to work hard and take a chance. And, here he is today releasing his debut film American Gunk and shooting his second Sex, Drugs, & Rock-n-Roll.

This demo film is a MUST SEE.

BUY THIS MOVIE. If you have a very tight financial situation I will understand why you would have to rent it, but if you can spend $20 on something - BUY THIS; don't rent it. This is a MUST have for a porn collection. It is worth buying, it is unique, it is great "happy ending" material, it is provocative, it is political, it has great music. You can actually watch this from start to finish - it is that entertaining.

Guy Capo is going to make some amazing films; this debut is simply incredible. If you are looking for something new in porn - go pick this up. If you pride yourself on having all the important films in your collect - go pick this up. If you want a film you can watch with your significant other- go pick this up. If you are looking for something raw, edgy, gritty, and cutting-edge - to pick this up. This film is all of that. It is amazing.
