Initial Expectations: Naughty America has had some fun movies. I don't know anything about this series, but I can't help but have a little hope for it.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although there were a couple background noises they were extremely minor. The video is presented in the full frame format and is also nicely done. The picture has a slightly soft look that doesn't really interfere with the action. The camera work is smooth with the lighting being nicely handled. There isn't anything amazing about the technical aspects here, but it is nicely done.

Music: None

False Advertising: The boxcover lists Annie Cruz and Devon Lee as being in the movie, neither of which do. Sadly, the name alone isn't enough here as the back cover even shows photos of them in action from scenes that don't appear on the DVD. If that isn't enough confusion, if one goes to Naughty America's website store it lists a cover with different cast members. This time neither Annie or Devon are mentioned, but Brooke Banner is who also doesn't appear in the movie. If that isn't enough, one of the photos on the back cover which did appear in the movie is removed to put in a photo from Brooke's scene that did not appear in the movie on the cover instead. This is beyond ridiculous and sloppy, and I'm deducting a full point from the overall score because of this. Although I know it can happen, it's hard to justify a company releasing a cover listing people other than those who appear in the movie. To have them do so twice, however, really makes it look beyond bad.

Disc Complaints: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title, similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD. I guess I can understand this being as Naughty America seems to work their internet content a little like TV series, but for a DVD it makes it extremely klunky to navigate. Hopefully they'll work on releasing their movies in a more standard format in the future.

Menus: The main menu is very unremarkable and just gives a still with each of the girls and the choices. The chapter menu is pretty good, and lets you choose a scene based on a still of each scene with the name(s) of the girl(s) in the scene.

The Feature

That said, the chemistry didn't really make it much past the average level and the entire scene had a feeling like they were more concerned about playing to the camera than anything. There's some nice eye candy to the scene, but it just doesn't have any real depth to it. This is easily the weakest scene in the movie.

American Daydreams 4 is a fun little porno. The setups have a nice variety, and always have some nice humor mixed into them. Unlike so many other adult films, the storylines normally pop up in the sex too rather than just being an excuse for the sex, which strengthens the entire movie by keeping everything light and fun. The sex scenes are also helped out by some very nice chemistry in each of the scenes and the cast looking like they're having a great time through every moment of the movie. I think Puma Swede's scene with Christian's was my favorite, and watching it I couldn't help but think that there had to be plenty of cuts due to the corniness of the lines. Lexi's scene is also darn hot, with Lexi amazing me at just how well her little body could take Billy's oversized cock. Although those two were two of my favorite scenes in the movie, the entire movie has a very nice and even level with no scene really standing out above or below the others sexually. American Daydreams 4 is a hot, fun, and nicely consistent fuck flick that should put a smile on your face and a tent in your pants.

The Extra Stuff

The only thing close to an extra is a screen showing some of what can be found on Naughty America's website. If this is supposed to be an extra, it's pretty pathetic.

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. If you're okay with who the cast really is here this one's worth the money. The setups are fun and the fun continues right through the sex. The technical aspects are nicely done, but sadly there's no effort put into the extras. This is a fun DVD that deserved a little more attention and a lot more quality control.
