The release of Amateur Porn Screen Tests: Madonna & Annett and Brie contains two films previously released by Pixie's Emporium on single disc releases, Madonna's Screen Test and Same Room Sex? Why the Hell Not! Each of the films are going to be covered seperately in the review. This section will cover shared extras and shared navigation. The disc is designed with simple non-animated menus that look nice. There is background music for the menus, which is a synthesized version of Madonna's “Like a Virgin.” From the main menus you can either play either movie or go to the chapter menu for either film. There is one shared extra for the two films which is previews for Talk Dirty to Me, School's Out for Summer, Roommate Auditions, and Friends which is available from the chapter menu for Same Room Sex? Synopsis:
This is a low budget all sex film which holds no pretense of a plot or any kind of set-up.

Audio/Video:
Madonna's Screen Test is presented with a Russian 2.0 MPEG Mono track which is very limited but considering the budget, that's alright. There is very little audio for the film, in many places it is silent. What is there is sometimes audio for the sex scene and is sometimes the director or crew talking. I wish there had been more of the sex scene audio since at times it seems like a silent movie. Then again, if it was cut due to talking on it, it might be better off being cut. Pixie's Emporium hasn't included any English audio tracks or any subtitle options for the feature film.

Madonna's Screen Test is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The video looks great considering the budgetary limitations of the film. The video is surprisingly crisp making for a great picture. There are some occasional video glitches here and there, not too many though and certainly not enough to bother any viewer. The color levels are correctly set making for a nice overall video presentation.

Special Features:
Pixie's Emporium has included one specific to Madonna's Screen Test, which can be found on the chapter menu. There are Snatch Shots on the disc, which is a photo gallery that contains 33 stills on a track. There is also a hidden link to Mandi's Ending on the chapter menu. I wouldn't call this an easter egg since the ending is easily accessible from the chapter menu for Same Room Sex? Why the Hell Not!

There are four chapters available from the chapter menu. Each one is identified by a video clip and a scene name. There are five chapter stops within the feature film itself. Pixie's Emporium/Platinum Media has watermarked the film, which is something that I am never in favor of, however the watermark is small and less distracting than some that I have seen. The watermark is located in the bottom right corner of the screen with the lettering “© Platinum-Media.” There is a fully functional time code encoded on the disc for the feature film. There are quick links on the menu to allow you to go back to the main menu or to go over to the chapter menu for Same Room Sex? Why the Hell Not!

General Review:
Madonna's Screen Test is an all sex amateur film, therefore the film isn't up to the standards of studio releases. Instead of being several scenes, the film is one long sex scene which is primarily shot via one moving camera, although there is some editing present in it. There is no pretense of a story or set-up to the film, it begins with the two cast members starting the scene. Given the obvious budget of the film and the way it is shot, this is a good aspect since otherwise the production values would have brought the film down.

Made in Squalle Russia, the movie is shot in a mostly empty room containing only a mattress covered with a white sheet and the production equipment. The production values for the film are low and no attempt has been made to hide theat. The production equipment is readily seen throughout the movie, cameras move in and out of the frame and at times the other camera man himself can be seen. The still photographer can be seen taking shots at times and at other times just the flash bulb going off can be seen. There are even times when a crew member reaches in to reposition cast members. There are also times when the camera goes out of focus, but each of these instances is brief.

The audio track, when present, is completely raw and void of any music. However, much of the film has no real audio. The audio seems to cut in and out at it's leisure and during parts of the movie a low thunking noise can be heard, possibly indicating that the microphones were malfunctioning at the time of the shoot. There is a time during the movie when the director can be heard telling the cast what to do, albeit in Russian. I wish the audio had been complete as it feels unnatural when there is essentially no sound and is much better when the moaning and groaning is present.

The sex scene is a mixed bag. Madonna Mason is stunningly beautiful and has a look of innocence to her which is what makes this film worth watching. Even in the sex acts like the blow job, she doesn't give a standard porn blow job but one more like someone who is still learning about their sexuality. Damien Fields looks good but is the major problem with the sex scene. For some reason for the first half of the sex scene he has a real problem sustaining an erection. Even to the point where he has to hold his dick in her to keep it from falling out. Something remedies this problem in the second half and he is able to perform properly in that portion of the movie. Anyone looking for an impressive cum shot will be disappointed though as he doesn't shoot out too much. Due to the lack of editing, the scene has a more real presence that what you usually find in adult films. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal sex with blow jobs, hand jobs, pussy fingering, and male masturbation. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the feature film.

General Review:
Same Room Sex? Why the Hell Not! is an amateur all sex film that was made in Squalle Russia. This film doesn't live up to the standards of studio produced adult materials and viewers should remember that before watching the film. If you are looking for studio style porn with great production values, cast members that look like porn stars and heavily thought out shots you are looking in the wrong place. As this is a true amateur production there are numerous problems with the film, but that is to be expected from this type of film.

The cast looks good and does a good job with the sex. The film features four people but if you are expecting an all out orgy with them you won't find it here. The cast members pair off into couples where they remain for the sex scene. There is a little interaction between the two pairs, but it isn't much. The cast seems to be enjoying themselves through the film and the sex is tame. Some viewers may be disappointed to know that there doesn't appear to be any cum shots at the end of the scene. Instead it ends with the action still going on. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal sex with blow jobs, hand jobs and pussy eating. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the feature film.

The set in the film is basic and consists of a mostly empty room with a bed in the middle. The bed is covered by a white sheet and this is where the focus of all the action is. The crew members can be easily seen throughout the film and the director's comments can be heard on the audio track and he can be seen repositioning the cast members at times. The flashbulb from the still camera can be seen going off at times during the film as well. The technical crew does a decent job of capturing the sex although there are often too many close-up shots of the action in a row with not enough medium shots mixed in and there are some sex acts that aren't captured well, for instance the pussy eating which is only seen at a distance.

Scene Synopsis:
Scene 1: Brie, Annett, and two unknown males
The first and only scene in the film brings us Brie, Annett and two unknown males. Brie and Annett start out by kissing and working each other over. Then the two unknown males enter the scene. Although not without it's problems, Same Room Sex? Why the Hell Not! is an enjoyable film to watch. What is sure to disappoint some viewers the most is the lack of a cum shot at the end of the film. What there is to enjoy here is just the sexual play without any of the rough acts so prevalent in the films of today and cast members that don't look like standard porn stars. If that sounds good to you, then I'd give the film a look, just remember since it is an amateur production the technical aspects are no where near what the studios are putting out.

Pixie's Emporium has combined two films that were made in the same place on one disc which creates a much better value for the consumer as each of the films are under an hour in run time. The first film features the stunning Madonna Mason but is a let down due to Damien Fields inability to perform for the first half of the film. On it's own, it would have been hard to fully recommend due to this. The second film features Annett and Brie and two unknown men and there are no performance problems in this film. Coupled together I recommend this disc for viewers that like amateur films as there is a lot to enjoy here. Just don't expect anything that resembles a standard studio production.
