Amateur Lesbian Lovers Review

Synopsis
Hey, I dig lesbians (who doesn’t), and amateurs are a big plus in my book. So I’m expecting something raw and sensual here, and the women look decent, at least from the cover pictures. Unfortunately, things don’t quite turn out that way.

What I Liked
Wild-eyed, tattooed Angela Flexxx and girl next-door type Dixie Comet get things started nicely in their first scene, with lots of sensual kissing and caressing before disrobing and getting busy. Their body types compliment one another very well (Angela has great perky tits, while Dixie has curves and a nice patch of dark pubes), and they seem really into it. As for the other scenes, Jizelle is real pretty, and a pleasure to watch as she writhes in pleasure beneath her partner, and covergirl Leyla Banks is beautiful as well. Each scene starts with some nice, slow build-up to set the mood. And, of course, there’s lots of cunnilingus, which is just one of my favorite things in the world.

What I Disliked
Other than the women mentioned above, I just didn’t find too many of these girls attractive. I guess those cover images were photo-shopped. All (except Dixie) have bald cunts, which automatically disqualifies this from anything I, personally, would ever purchase. But there’s a lot more that’s wrong with this release. In particular, several of the women emit these really loud, fake squeals that really kill things for me. (I mean, we’re talking cover your ears and lower the volume quickly before the neighbors call the cops squeals). Each scene features basically the same repetitive sequence (kissing, swapping oral, then toy play), so there’s not much variety here. Above all, there’s no anal to speak of, not even licking. Honestly, I don’t know how you can go down on a woman and not lick or finger her asshole, that just shows how these women really aren’t that into the whole thing. In the end, most of the scenes feel rather fake and contrived, and I know that’s just porn, but from a DVD that claims to be “Amateur,” I’d expect something a little more real.

Great A/V quality and solid camera work, as is usual from 3rd Degree.

Overall Thoughts
Well, I really can’t recommend Amateur Lesbian Lovers. I find 4 out of the 10 women involved attractive, which isn’t such a bad average, I guess, but the 3 scenes that they appear in are all flawed in other ways. Honestly, I’m not going to watch this one all that much in the future. When I feel in the mood for shaved cunt lesbians, I’ll instead go to Girlfriends Films or Burning Angel, both of which put that little extra something into their films that make it worth while.
