Initial Expectations: This has been a pretty good series. I’m looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: It’s a nicely done fresh talent movie.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting fresh talent without old guys who are 90% beer belly or who glow in the dark trying them out

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting real amateur action

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although there are a few background noises they’re pretty minor. The video is much the same way. There’s a hint of grain and a little camera motion, but nothing that holds back the movie much.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu is nothing special, but it has a nice style that worked well for me. The chapter menu keeps the style, which is nice, but drops a notch by just going with a small clip of each scene and a chapter number to help you make your choice.

The Feature

Luc Wylder, one of the nicest guys in the adult industry, hosts Amateur Angels. Although the girls aren’t quite amateurs in most cases (there’s a lot of familiar faces in the series), they’re all relatively new. Luc interviews each of the lovely ladies, and then lets them show what they can do.

Scene 1 - Temptation and Lee Stone

Temptation, a brunette with a little bleach streak who reminded me a little of Kaylynn at first glance, starts her scene out sitting on Lee’s lap and kissing him. She lets him strip off her top to get at her titties before finishing to strip so she can lie back and get her slit licked. This is a pretty good scene. Lee and Temptation seem to be nicely into each other, and both put out some good energy. I will admit to being a little distracted by Temptations tits. I’m not sure they even moved a quarter inch through the entire scene. It’s a good scene, but it just wasn’t great.

Scene 2 - Rio Mariah and Brett Rockman

There’s some nice energy between them, and they look like they’re having fun throughout the entire scene. My biggest complaint is that the scene seems a little short. When I first saw this scene in a compilation long ago it didn’t do anything for me. Watching it here, I couldn’t help but really like it.

Scene 3 - Dreamy Nights and Katie Morgan

Dreamy, a short haired dirty blonde, gets it on with blonde Katie after they sample a few strawberries. Scene 4 - Shakespeare and Julian St. Jox

Shakespeare, a black woman who I’ve never found too attractive before but who doesn’t look too bad here, and Julian St. Jox get it on next. I think I spent a fair amount of my time watching this scene being distracted by the nearby pile of porn and wondering which movie I’d watch next.

Scene 5 - Kalani and Lewis Adams

Twenty two year old brunette Kalani and her nineteen year old suitcase pimp Lewis start things out with a passionate kiss before they let their kisses work across each other’s body. Kalani shows some great potential, but Lewis is just too much of an albatross around her neck for her to do much.

Scene 6 - Angel Long and Frazer Fox

Amateur Angels 9 is a pretty good fresh talent movie. As always, Luc comes off as more than friendly, as well as feeling like just the kind of guy you’d hope would be there to ease girls into porn. There’s some a couple decent names here, namely Katie Morgan (who doesn’t even try to pretend that she’s a beginner), Rio, who went on to do some amazing scenes, and Angel, who also went on to do some darn good scenes. Rio and Angel’s scenes are easily my favorites in the movie, although there’s some very nice chemistry throughout the entire movie. I also like that there’s a nice variety of action in the movie with interracial, anal, cream pies, and even a little lesbian action. The only scene that really didn’t do much for me was Shakespeare’s scene, mostly due to her attitude. Amateur Angels 9 is a nicely done fresh talent movie, and continues to be a very worthwhile series.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with roughly six seconds per good looking snapshot. Bios are included for the entire cast including a bit of personal information and a photo. Trailers are included for Sex Across America Seventh Stop: Los Angeles, Amateur Angels 7, Adult Stars at Home, and Sex Across America Eighth Stop: Seattle. There’s also weblinks, phone sex crap, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts over a half hour. Temptation starts things out with a few words before trying to show how difficult solo still photos can be. They move on to shoot her scene and some more stills before things change over to Kalani and her stills. Katie talks about her dogs and has a smoke next before Dreamy chats with the camera as she’s getting her hair done. Shakespeare continues to show her attitude and that her knowledge apparently ends with the ability to spell “fun” before the cameraman seems to give up on her too. Katie returns for a little more chatting as well as some stupid human tricks before Angel gets her chat in the makeup chair. Rio is hunted down as she tries to take a nap in one of the bedrooms as Frazier and Angel go at it before things are finished up with the cream pie. This is a nicely done behind the scenes featurette. It does a good job focusing on the making of the scenes while also bringing in plenty of personality from the performers when they aren’t fucking for the cameras. If you enjoy the interview portions of the Amateur Angels series, you should also really enjoy this behind the scenes featurette.

Currently, Adam & Eve’s DVDs can be found online for between $8 and $25, with several stores offering them for around $15. At the low end this one’s a pretty darn good buy. There’s some hot sex and some nice effort put into the extras. The technical aspects are also pretty good for a fresh talent release. This is a nicely put together DVD.

Note to Adam & Eve / Fallen Angel: It’s easy to see why you’ve kept this series coming. I hope you keep it coming for quite a while.
