The Score Group is a porn studio with both a group of magazines and a library of videos for sale. Their titles, both video and print, tend to service specific interests--young, older (aka MILF and GILF), legs, asses--but their flagship, Score, and sister magazine, Voluptuous, are big-boob videos, and that's where Kelly Kay fits in.

For fans of the magazines, Kelly Kay would likely be a star in Voluptuous, the big-boob magazine aimed at a) all-natural boobs and b) welcoming of women who are above their fighting weight. Exactly how far Kelly is in the BBW camp (a polite euphamism for "fat") is debatable; she's definitely not slim, but she's not exactly spherical either. Anyone interested in this title should not be put off by the "voluptuous" body type and a few extra pounds.

The DVD is a collection of videos featuring Kelly Kay (and only Kelly Kay) that they probably sold ala carte on their website. Content is mainly video-centerfold stuff: lots of posing and position changes, lots of breast rubbing and a little self-licking/sucking.

Scene 2: Kelly in an outdoor hot-tub/jacuzzi, lots of posing.
Scene 3: In a pink bedroom for some in-bed finger masturbation.

Scene 6: pulls on some exercise clothes for a light workout in a sitting room

The bonus scene is mainly a video of some pictorial shoots; it begins with Kelly Kay alone and ends with a dual nude pose with her mother; the dual shoot is exactly that, just posing together, no FF action of any kind.

Kelly doesn't speak (she moans a little, but even then she's pretty quiet) so the soundtrack is mostly an unobtrusive music track, and its volume is kept low enough (or squelched entirely) so it doesn't step on sound effects like vibrator buzzing and running water.

The sex energy is definitely in the low-middle range. She fucks herself languidly--not without interest, but definitely not with urgency. That gives the whole video a cool, dreamy quality that you may find refreshing (if you're sick of what goes on in most crappy porn these days) or rather dull. Some of it may depend on your mood and what you want. Sometimes a gentle touch is needed, sometimes it isn't.

By it's also all the same; each scene is largely like the next (except that some have sex and some are just posing); some variety of the energy level from scene to scene would have spiced it up a bit.

Video and audio quality are clean and clear. There's not much to this so the menuing is pretty straightforward and obvious. Score is generous with chapter stops and puts them more often where they're likely to be most appreciated; the video looks like it planned and made by people who care about making a good product (nobody's going to quote that on a DVD box but I think it's a useful comment).

Another nice touch, which I'll mention only because I've bitched about this in other reviews: Score's "previews" are actually relevant to my interests. It amazes me when I buy, say, lesbian masturbation videos and the previews for Interracial Gilf Creampies. That may be fine, but if I buy lesbo solo videos, show me titles for other lesbo solo videos. In this case, that's what Score did. First up is a video for Nicole Peters, which is now on my rental queue, followed by ads for Ines Cudna and a variety of big-tit queens doing exactly what I want to see. This is how you sell other titles in your catalog.

But back to Alone with Kelly Kay: what it all boils down to is this: you gotta really have a hard-on for Kelly Kay, because this DVD is 2-hours of her and little else. If you like big, natural boobs on a voluptuous woman, if you don't need jack-off encouragement or dirty talk, if you don't like your performers screaming loud enough to shatter windows, and if you don't need to see her impaled by a cricket bat, then you should short list this for greatness. Or if not great, pretty damn good.
