Initial Reaction: Although the last couple scenes were okay, the rest reminded me of why remotes have fast forward buttons.

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects vary quite a bit through the movie. Unfortunately, very little of it is close to average. The audio is very basic and has more than a few problems. There’s background noises and more than a few balance problems. There are a few areas that also look like they might have been dubbed, but from the look and sound of this one, I doubt anybody involved with this feature has that much skill. The video isn’t any better. The lighting is okay, but it’s so pixelated that VHS would be a step up. There’s also a lot of camera shake, soft focus problems, and just plain bad camera work that really holds the feature back. There’s also an offcolor line along the bottom edge that looks like it should be on the top of the screen.

Disc Problems / Complaints: Although there is a time stamp, each scene is its own title. This means that you can’t skip forward or back in a scene unless you go through the chapter menu. This is annoying and seems a bit juvenile, and something I hope will soon disappear from Works World Wide’s DVDs.

Menus: The menus aren’t too bad. The main menu has a clip of the movie, while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the lady in the scene.

The Feature: All Amateur Video.com collects five unrelated scenes. There’s no opening to any of them, and each scene is unrelated to the others.

Stacy, a brunette who hides her full face with a mask, starts things off working herself over with a jelly dildo with very wet results. She squirts several times, and leaves the bed absolutely drenched. The cameraman lays down on the bed and invites her to squirt on him, which she does several times before they fuck. They mix things up between the bed and shower, with the shower being one attempt to try and control the environment of Stacy’s squirting. It doesn’t work very well, and towels soon appear on the bed as they fuck. Finally, Stacy sucks the cameraman’s cock until he decorates her face and anything else nearby. It’s an okay at best scene for a couple reasons. First, Stacy made a comment of “Gross” at her squirting, which makes me think it was at least partially faked. Second, this scene was almost completely gyno-cam, which goes from okay to bad after a couple minutes, let alone over ten. It feels like it could have been an okay scene with a little different approach, but here it felt almost like Stacy was being treated like a circus side-show attraction.

Paola, a cute girl that I’m guessing is Brazilian, starts off her scene in the shower, which of course means she masturbates. Unlike most shower scenes, however, she uses soap as she’s in there, and gets herself lathered up very nicely. She works herself over with her fingers and a dildo after getting out of the shower, and seems to get into it pretty well. Paola works herself over with the fingers and her toy in several positions all over the bathroom until slipping into a bubble bath. This scene might have been okay if it hadn’t been so freaking long! I like to watch women masturbate, but this sucker’s well over twenty minutes long without anything to really keep it going. Paola looks like she’s enjoying herself okay, but even she seems a little bored after a while, and the camera work never let me get into it much.

Blonde Astrid gets a bit of ebony and ivory as she takes on a black guy and a white guy. I know that this isn’t supposed to be a humorous scene, but it really was. After she sucks the guys a bit Astrid rides the black guy while the white guy tries to get his limp dick in her ass for a double penetration. Instead he just massages her ass whenever she bears down on the black guy for a good portion of the scene. He finally does make it in, but the camera doesn’t show much of it and he isn’t able to keep it in long. Astrid gives them each a little oral loving before a little more fucking and getting a cream coating at both ends. This scene had me going between boredom and laughter, and the laughter was at the scene not with it. This scene should be shown to aspiring porn directors as an example of what not to do. The only problem with it is if they’re assigned to write a paper on it there might be structural problem in the Prof’s office if there are more than two people in Porn Filmmaking 101.

Gabrielle, a cute brunette who’s easily the best looker in the feature, masturbates to start out her scene while badmouthing her tardy boyfriend. Sadly, her panties cover the goodie box so you can’t see much. As soon as her boyfriend arrives they have a little argument and Gabrielle insists on sucking his cock. She gives him great eyes while sucking him and teases him with her pussy while he continues to try to convince her to stop because they have to go out. She finally slides her pussy over his cock and lets him play with her butt before sucking him until he pops on her hand. This is easily the best scene in the feature. Gabriella looks like she’s having a great time, and smiles and plays to the camera in a very good way. In addition to being fun, the scene also has the best technical aspects in the entire movie, and looks like it might have been done recently.

Finally, raven haired Niki takes on a black guy and a white guy. After the last threesome, this one had me wincing before I even saw anybody’s face. Although the camera work sucks once again, Niki’s actually fun to watch here, and had me smiling at her as well as smiling due to how much I was laughing at how badly this scene was done. Niki obviously enjoys herself, and comments to the white guy about the temperature apparently being too cold there for him since he can’t maintain wood before going to town on him orally in hopes of getting him up enough to fuck. He tells her he can come at any time, and after jerking himself for about five minutes (seriously) finally decides on the time to come. Niki giggles as he splatters her face, and then lets his buddy jerk off until he gives her a great facial. Although I enjoyed Niki, this scene really needed somebody to edit. Most of the scene feels like it’s a behind the scenes featurette as Niki sucks the white guy, who looks like he might be half gorilla, and discusses what they’re going to do later. The black guy also disappears between fucking Niki and her sucking the white guy, roughly two minutes into the scene, only to be replaced by another white guy to jerk off onto her at the end of the scene. It also feels off since after the scene is done it goes to a blue screen. I really hope Niki finds somebody competent behind the camera since she looks to have a lot to offer.

All Amateur Video.com is amateurish in virtually every way. The performers are all new, and occasionally have a look of enjoyment that you rarely see on the pros. The camera work is the really amateur part of the feature, and holds back the entire feature. There’s an almost constant shake that makes me think that Santa Claus should bring somebody a tripod and a few Ed Powers DVDs so that somebody can learn a little something. There’s also plenty of close-ups that lasted so long that I almost fell asleep and sharp zooms that nearly gave me file an insurance claim for whiplash. The only really good thing in the entire feature is Gabrielle, who turns in a scene that’s hot as well as a lot of fun. If every scene would have been like hers, this feature might have had a chance of getting close to a five star rating rather than hoping to work its way up to a below average rating. All Amateur Video.com definitely lives up to its name, and here that’s not really a good thing.

Extras: Short glimpses of Watchmesuckdick.com, dildosensations.com Vol. 1, and smokingsensations.com are all included. For each movie you get two clips from each movie, and are even given the name of the lady in the scene. It’s never a full scene, but instead you get roughly a two minute peek. It’s a nice way to do things, but I would have much rather seen one full scene from one or two movies rather than six snippets from three movies. There’s also contact information.

Overall: Currently, most of the DVDs released by Works World Wide can be found online for between $12 and $17. Rent this one before you shell out that much on this one. There’s only a couple good scenes, and even some of them are laughable. The technical aspects are normally horrible, but the extras are okay.

Note to Works World Wide: Please learn a little consistency. You have a good start in some of your later scenes here, but to say the early ones suck might be a little too generous. Also, please look at how other successful companies author their DVDs, as your setup is due to tick off more than a few people.
