Adventures Of Enrico Vega, The Review

“The Adventures of Enrico Vega”, from Enrico Vega Productions, stars – who else? – Enrico Vega. Since he appears in four out of five scenes, you have to like him or this film will be a disappointment. Luckily, he’s a good-looking guy who combines boyish charm with a devilish smile, a solid, muscular body and a nice uncut dick. He’s also an expressive performer. It’s a shame he didn’t manage to surround himself with equally good-looking and talented guys when making his film, and that he didn’t get someone else to direct it.

The word “Adventures” in the title is hardly justified, since all the action takes place inside Vega’s New York apartment building, and none of the sex could really be described as adventurous.

We start with Ray Grande exposing and briefly sucking himself on the stairs. Grande is aptly named, given his height, his hulking body and his enormous uncut meat. His large face is one only a mother could love, and the camera does not linger on it. Vega gives him an energetic blowjob, pausing occasionally to smile and look in wonderment at the size of what he almost manages to deep-throat. Grande gushes out a big load on Vega’s shoulder, then Vega continues sucking. Less than three minutes later, in what appears to be a continuous take, Grande produces another load! Grande then leaves, and Vega is left to jerk himself off in a short solo scene.

The scene could have been better - the sucking takes place entirely in one position, and Grande does not suck, kiss or even touch Vega, whose dick remains in his pants throughout. Nevertheless, Vega’s sucking is impressive and there seems to be a touch of chemistry between the actors, so the scene works well despite these weaknesses.

Next up, Vega dreams of having sex with Zeo, a slim black guy who he cruised on the street. Without any sucking or foreplay, we first see Zeo fucking Vega in scissors position, then they try reverse cowboy, cowboy and doggy. None of these positions seems to be very successful, in particular the reverse cowboy, which should have been edited out. Zeo is an unimaginative fucker, and Vega never seems completely comfortable on the receiving end. Just when it seems they might get a rhythm going, we abruptly cut to Vega fucking Zeo missionary. This gives us a nice view of Zeo’s impressive abs, but also his deflated dick with the used condom still on it (not exactly a turn-on). In each scene, Vega is an energetic fucker, using powerful thrusts in and out, but here Zeo reacts mostly with grimaces of pain. In the end, Vega produces a big and noisy cum shot on Zeo’s chest, then sucks Zeo for a few seconds before getting the white stuff on his mouth.

The third scene is a short one and the only one without Vega. It involves a couple in the next apartment: Kendell Jay, a black guy who looks about 18, and a scrawny white guy, Arturo Sanchez. Each sucks the other before Jay fucks Sanchez and they both cum. Everything is competently done, but it seems very much by the numbers with little energy and a low excitement level. As with the other scenes, a little bit of background, context or dialogue would have helped: are they lovers? friends? do they live together?

Vega returns in the following scene, when he and his neighbor put on a show for the web cam. The neighbor is Draygen, a pale and pudgy young guy with no muscle tone but a sizeable uncut dick. They suck face briefly (the only decent kissing in the film) before Draygen sucks Vega well, and Vega rims Draygen’s average-looking ass. Vega then fucks Draygen in several positions, including an airborne clench. Draygen is quiet and passive throughout, but at least stays hard while being fucked. Draygen squirts out a quick load on Vega’s furniture and Vega cums to close the scene.

Finally, two guys respond to Vega’s internet request for a three-some at his place. The scene starts with the three of them naked on the couch, already sucking. One is Dimitri Santiago, a Latin-looking guy with a decent body; the other is Junior de la Cruz, another pale and pudgy guy, this time with a shaved head. Junior is a relaxed deep-throater, while Dimitri’s style is more urgent. Both guys join to suck Vega before Vega fucks Junior doggy as Junior sucks Dimitri. Then Vega and Dimitri swap places. Like Vega, Dimitri is a good fucker, with a mixture of tempos and styles.

The fucking continues with Junior riding Vega cowboy, then crouching on Dimitri before Vega inserts his thick dick as well – a double penetration! Although it’s apparently Junior’s first time being DP’ed, he takes it well, and for a decent length of time. Knowing that you can’t top a good DP, the film ends there, with Vega and Santiago squirting out respectable loads.

The odd thing about this scene is Junior – despite his excellent oral and anal skills, he is an enigma. We hardly see his face straight on, and when we do he mostly has a blank look on it. He doesn’t make any sounds of pleasure or pain. We never get a decent shot of his dick and he doesn’t cum during the scene (both presumably explained by wood problems). Most of the time he is simply a convenient mass of flesh into which the two tops can insert their joysticks.

The DVD quality is adequate. The filming is OK, but there are too many close-up fucking shots, with too much cellulite showing. The lighting is often harsh, and the filming of each scene in a small apartment room gives everything a claustrophobic feel. The electronic music (by JD Slater) is too loud, and its insistent beat only serves to emphasize the lack of much excitement on screen. Each scene has four chapters, but there are no extras.
