The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are a bit weak. Sometimes that's to be expected due to how the movie's shot and sometimes it comes off as just inexperience and sloppiness. The audio is clear but there are a few background noises due to the locations. The video is presented in the full frame format. It's normally well lit and mixes a little black and white footage in with the typical full color footage. There's a little camera motion, which once again is sometimes due to how the movie has to be shot and sometimes due to sloppiness and drunkenness.

Music: There's a little music here and there through the movie that normally helps the action out. It never lasts long and is always nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

False Advertising: The cover lists Mande and Paula among the cast, but at best they just show up in recaps of the previous installments. It also features Brittney Skye very prominently on the cover, who only shows up for the last scene. This makes the movie seem much bigger than what it is, and especially makes the sex appear to have a much bigger variety of talent. I'm deducting a full point from the overall score because of this.

Menus: The main menu works through a little action from the movie before settling into a still and a little animation for an okay first impression. The chapter menu is okay, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the location of the scene.

The Feature

Apparently Dave Road and some friends are taking a motorhome from Seattle to Key West. This time around their in Texas and Louisiana,and try to fuck around a few notable landmarks.

Scene 1 – Becca Bratt and Jack Spade

Blonde Becca starts out the action letting Jack fuck her from behind on the grassy knoll. He pumps her good and then cums in her mouth for her to spit it on the fence.

This scene is pretty much a waste. The action isn't bad, but the entire scene doesn't even last a full minute. It's nicely shot in black and white, which is a nice touch, but I've watched commercials longer than this scene and gotten more out of them as well.

Scene 2 – Becca Bratt, Jack Spade, and Woody Viking

Becca Bratt gives Jack Spade quick blowjob at the University of Texas Tower with a quick fuck but no pop, as there's too many people around. They also get in a quick fuck, but it's short and all too quick. They get high on the steps and wait for dark for Becca to suck Jack again. She bends over to get fucked from behind, and even starts sucking Woody the camera guy at the same time when he wants some too. This is a pretty good scene. Yes, it's choppy, but with how the scene had to be shot that's more than understandable. I like how they continued the scene at the base, as well as some of their talk about respecting those who died there. At the same time, I lost almost all care about Becca Bratt and Woody with their “fuck guns” talk at the end of it as I find the Second Amendment to the Constitution every bit as important as the First. This is a pretty good scene, and definitely not the place for politics.

Scene 3 – April, Becca Bratt, Dave Road, and Woody Viking

Austin's 6th Street is known as a place to party, so the crew heads there next. Woody picks up a heavily intoxicated stripper named April on the street, who comes back to the motorhome with them. She shows off and kisses Becca's mouth and tits, lets Dave smack her ass, and lets Woody finger her pussy as they mix in a little kissing. This scene doesn't even make it to the average mark. April is kinda cute and looks to be quite the party girl. While part of me enjoyed the sex, another was turned off due to April being highly intoxicated for the scene as well as the unsafe aspect with the group picking a girl up off the street and fucking her without protection. Yes, this can be a fun thing, but it also glamorizes a sexual irresponsibility that ended up being a pretty good turn off for me. Of course, when the guy can't deliver and you're cutting the scene to the director talking about it before showing it, it shouldn't be a surprise that this scene ends up lacking sexually. Even tagging on a pop the next day with the girl looking much nicer doesn't help the scene that much.

Scene 4 – Becca Bratt and Jack Spade

The crew heads to the Alamo next. Becca starts things out with a few quick masturbation shots before starting to suck Jack in one of the amphitheaters. They have to cut the action short, however, when the Alamo starts to close down. Once again they come back at night, but since there's too many guards around they continue the action in the morning across the street with Becca sucking Jack's cock again. She bends over to let him fuck her from behind, and they have to mix in a bit more cocksucking due to how nervous about being caught Becca is. Finally, Jack pops in Becca's mouth so she can swallow down another load.

This is a pretty impressive scene. There's a good feeling of the difficulty of shooting the scene, as well as a nice thrill for pulling it off as best they can. Once again Becca's politics got in the way a bit, and although I was a bit excited to see her in action here again I can say that I probably won't be missing her much after I finish this movie.

Scene 5 – Becca Bratt, Brittney Skye, Jack Spade, and Woody Viking

When the group gets to Bourbon Street they run into Brittney Skye and head to the strip club. Both Becca and Brittney put on shows before they head to a gay bar, and later Brittney hooks up with Woody and they fuck in what looks to be the hotel room with a few positions and no pop. The next day Woody gets a little footjob from Becca (also without a pop) before Brittney arrives and fucks Jack reverse cowgirl style on the balcony. When people start to notice on the street they head inside for Brittney to suck Jack's cock and for him to lick her pussy. Jack goes back to fucking her missionary style with a hand around her throat before they get in some doggie and reverse cowgirl fucking. They also fuck by the window before moving by the door, which Woody opens before letting Brittney suck his cock. They head back to the couch for Woody to fuck Brittney from behind and pop on her ass as she sucks Jack's cock. Woody goes right back to fucking her and pops on her back a second time before letting Jack get a little knob gobbling and more doggie fucking. Finally, Jack comes around to pop on Brittney's face.

This is an okay scene. Brittney gets into the sex very nice, but there's very little of the public sex aspect to the scene. The opening sex segments with Brittney and Woody are also completely forgettable and the editing is horrible for when they're inside the room. I guess this scene is the big draw for the movie being the only one to feature cover girl Britteny, and although she does a nice job, the overall scene leaves plenty to be desired.

Adventure Sex 4 is a great idea that never lives up to the idea. Having a group go around trying to have sex in public places is a fun idea, especially with the right group. They do a good job capturing the group trying to have sex and showing the obstructions to public sex, and I also like how they try to get as close to possible to the location if they can't pull it off. That said, the sex and movie fails for reasons beyond that. To start with, the action is a bit limited by having Becca Bratt and Jack Space being the only ones in the group to try to have sex in public. Yes, Woody joins in later in several of the scenes, but only after it fails at the desired location or if they're inside where it's nice and safe. Some of the scenes also seem very disposable, such as the sex on the grassy knoll that didn't even last a full minute and could have been cut out without really taking anything from the movie. The choppy editing is easy to forgive in some of the public locations, but sadly it doesn't get any better when they're in “safe” places like the motorhome or hotel room. Those looking forward to prominently featured cover babe Brittney have another reasons to be disappointed as she doesn't show up until the very last scene. For the final fault, much of the time the primary focus of the movie isn't even on the sex. Instead it's about the group getting stoned and partying with the sex being one of the things they do when messed up. Adventure Sex 4 fails for many reasons, and almost comes off like the half retarded step sister to some of the movies that Shane's World and ShotAtHome.com put out.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Hustler’s DVDs can be found online for between about $16 and $25 with stores offering it everywhere in between. Rent this one first or aim low. The idea's good, but the execution never lives up to the idea due to a sloppy and choppy feeling no matter where the movie's being shot. The technical aspects are pretty average, but there's no effort put into the extras. This is a dud of a DVD.

Note to Hustler: This is a great idea for a series, and I hope you find somebody who can pull it off right next time.
