The Short Story

Initial Expectations: It's been a long time since I've checked out anything Anabolic's done, partially because I didn't see them putting much care into their DVDs. After meeting Ivan, visiting one of his sets, and spending some time around their office seeing the effort they're putting into trying to be one of the top companies out there again I can't help but look forward to what they're doing now.

Initial Reaction: It's every bit as good or even better than I hoped for. If this is the kind of DVD Ivan and Anabolic are going to be putting out, the second half of 2007 is going to be very good for porn fans.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced and I don't think I heard a single background noise. The video is very well presented in anamorphic widescreen. There's just a hint of pixelation in a couple places, but most of the movie looks fantastic with well lit and smooth camera work.

Music: The music has a cool feeling and is very well balanced with the rest of the audio. That said, it's also very repetitive so I was very happy that Anabolic cared enough to give the viewer the ability to turn off the music for all but the tease segments.

Menus: The main menu works well blending a still with Lexi dancing in the background for a simple but effective main menu. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on the name of the girl, a clip from their scene, a head shot, and the scene number. It seems like a lot, but I can't help but be impressed with how well it lays things out without feeling cluttered or generic while also giving the viewer most everything they could ever want to pick a scene. There's also a fantastic clip of Lexi Luv to lead you from menu to menu to where ever you want to go.

The Feature

A2M 11. The eleventh volume of Ass to mouth. The title alone lets you know what to expect here, and advertises 95 A2Ms for the movie. With six scenes that works out to about sixteen tastes per scene and a cast of girls who look like they can do it without blinking an eye.

A2M 11 should be darn near everything anal fans could dream of in a movie. The girls are hot and all take it up the ass extremely well. Although the action does have a touch of intensity at times, there's never a moment when you think the girl might not be into anal sex or ass to mouth action. Although I didn't count, I don't doubt the cover claim of 95 A2Ms and there's enough anal action here to even have the viewer walking funny for a few days after watching it. If that isn't enough, Ivan's eye behind the camera makes it all the better. He has a great mix of camera angles, and although there's a bit of fast motion here and there as he shoots it, it always feels like he has to move quick so you don't miss something he knows you're going to want to see. There's also some very nice attention to the lighting, and the multicolored locations throughout the movie give it an additional touch of uniqueness to break it apart from all the other anal movies out there. Perhaps most amazingly is that for a movie that's basically a three hour one trick pony, the movie never gets old. There's definitely credit deserved for those both in front of and behind the camera, and they worked well enough together that I was looking forward to each and every scene. If there's a complaint here the only thing I can complain about is that the movie only has four guys in it. Yes, the cover says there's ten cocks, and with four threesomes and two one on one scenes that's technically true, but it also had me hoping for a little bigger variety of male talent here than having Tony T. in four of the scenes (even if he is a little less intense and appearing to be a little more into the women). A2M 11 made a fantastic first impression of Ivan's movies for me, and is a movie that anal and ass to mouth fans really need to check out.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with about five seconds per excellent looking snapshot or full screen photo. The Girls & Cameras gallery lasts just under two minutes with about three seconds per great looking snapshot of girls holding different classic cameras. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, cumshot recaps, all of the strip teases from the movie, and the ability to choose whether you want the music on or off.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about eight and a quarter minutes. Aline starts out with a little tease and chat before things move over to Tony and Britney who talk about the upcoming action with Ivan. Ivan also admires some of Britney's ink before it moves on with a few interviews right after the scenes. Britney starts out talking about how the cum tastes like ass and loving the taste of her own ass. Marie is next, who chats about her necklace and jizz before Aline talks about some of the marks on her body. There's even a bit with Sascha showing up late and playing with Maya. For its length, this is a great behind the scenes featurette. You get plenty of personality from the stars as well as a bit of fun and some nice eye candy. It would have been nice to have included all of the ladies here, but you at least get a little of most of them rather than just concentrating on one or two of the girls like some others would have. This is a nicely done extra.

Currently, many of Anabolic's current releases can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with very few stores offering them for under $20. If you're a fan of anal and ass to mouth action this one's going to be well worth the money. There isn't a single scene that even drops down to the “very good” level, and the technical aspects show just as much care. There's even some nice effort put into the extras, which makes this DVD all the better. This is a great DVD.

Note to Anabolic: For a while you seemed like you were dropping off the map. If this is the kind of product you're going to be putting out, it shouldn't take you long to get right back where you used to be.
