Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done, especially when one considers some of the locations. The audio is pretty well balanced, but obviously there are a few background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks good. The picture is clear with very little grain, but there is a fair amount of camera motion and a little inconsistent lighting.

The reality aspect is handled extremely well with some good public shots including some hot public flashing and some nice action in the cars. Penelope and Sasha were two of the main girls I had high hopes for, and they both did a very nice job. Sasha's scene is by far the shortest in the movie, but she keeps things going nicely with J-Mac and speeding things up a bit wasn't exactly a bad thing as it kept the camera dude quieter. Penelope works the reality aspect nicely, and has a great shy personality that worked extremely well for me to start out the movie. Moni turned out a very nice scene after starting out with a bit of attitude, and Nadia kept things going nicely after making J-Mac earn it a little. I'm not a big fan of the bright dyed hair so I can't say I had high expectations for Gloria's scene, but she quickly got my attention with a great attitude and turned out a very solid scene. Alana works in some nice tease around the ocean to start the penultimate scene, and has some good chemistry with J-Mac as well. Other than the camera man being a bit annoying at times, the biggest thing that holds this one back is the male talent. J-Mac's a decent performer with a good sized cock, but he definitely gets old when he's in five of the six scenes in the movie. Bringing in a little fresh male talent would have definitely livened this one up as the scenes did start to run together a bit for me. That said, 8th Street Latinas 17 has plenty of hot action, and it's easy to see how it's earned the attention it has as one of the best ethnic themed series out there.
