7 In a Barn Review

A classic film from the 1970s.

Dean Chasson is a young guy who has had an idea for a sex club, and has arranged for six other local youths to meet in a barn for fun and games. The guys arrive one by one and are greeted by Dean. When all are assembled he tells them the rules: they are to play a game of poker and the one who loses all of his chips first is to be the others’ slave. Cards are dealt and the game proceeds. Before long John, the guy of Dean’s dreams bets everything and—of course—loses. He acknowledges Dean as his master.
The table is moved away and replaced by a mattress. This handsome young stud (played by Jerome Sanderson) lies down on the mattress and jacks off as he has been ordered.
“Everyone who has a hard cock, take it out!” Dean orders. No one’s penis remains hidden. Before long all are naked and stroking—not only their own cocks—but those of the guys beside them. After John ejaculates on his belly, the action gets wilder. Some are kissing, some sucking dick, some fucking.
Even though all shoot a load, these are healthy young males and the action continues. The slave, John, is now ordered to service each of the guys in turn as each guy chooses. Dean is to go last, and no one is to make John cum. The one with the biggest prick is to go first. He is a skinny bespectacled kid who does indeed sport a prize appendage. The following day John is heading to the river for a swim. Dean catches up with him and invites himself along. They skinny-dip and splash about in the river in a pleasant pastoral scene. Afterwards as they sun themselves in the long grass of the meadow, Dean gets his long-awaited turn. Dean not only services—he worships his friend’s body in an extremely idyllic scene.

In the film’s final episode we return to the barn for the next slave session. The guy who made John cum is now the slave and his buddy is the headmaster (pardon the pun). The new slave called Frank is ordered to suck his buddy’s dick while an enormous dildo is shoved up his anus. He is bound on his back to a sawhorse with the dildo still in place and an hot S & M scene seems about to occur but everyone just pairs up until they shoot their loads with their respective partners.

Twenty-five years ago according to an old magazine I have, this film was listed as one of the 50 best videos of all time. Many great films have appeared since then and the production values are not what they are today. The action also does not always provide the requisite money shots (It’s hard to keep up with young teens in an orgy). But the film still packs a punch. The beautiful young cast and the fun they seem to be having is infectious. It seems very real. I remember once seeing a thin paperback book called “7 in a Barn” (One of they guys is actually seen reading it in the film.) I assume it was the basis of the film.

An elderly friend of mine said this was his favorite film. Now that it’s available on DVD, I really should be a good person and give it to him. On second thought, let him buy his own. I plan to keep this.
