3 Degrees of Humiliation Review

This DVD contains 3 scenes in which 3 top dogs chest-punch, slap, spit on, verbally abuse, and eventually fuck 3 guys who have to take every bit of it. There’s a special “The Making of…” bonus extra scene in which the director and casts in each of the 3 scenes are shown giving and getting direction. You also get to see the several camera angles of the same take, as the director does, during the filming. There are also previews of 3 other MSR releases: Don’t Ask Don’t Tell; Size Is Everything; Sex in the City, none of which would particularly inspire me to run out and rent or buy the respective DVDs.

First Degree – Doug Jeffries picks up cheap trick Michael Vista and takes him back to his “walls-covered-in-stone” playroom. Michael does not take kindly to Doug’s abuse, but take it he does. As Director Jack Francis tells them in setting up the scene, “There’s a lot of tension. “Eddie” (apparently referring to Doug) is very hostile. Michael’s attitude doesn’t improve things.” Includes a fair amount of dildo work by Doug on Michael’s hot hole.

Second Degree – Yuppie Will Clark sits in the backyard on his chaise lounge eyeing dirty mags while dissing substitute gardener, the tall, lanky, muscularly well-defined Rick Allen. Rick eventually gets fed up and makes Will pay by taking his “like a horse” (how I loved that old tape of the same name!) dick and riding Will like a cowpoke around the back yard. No dildoes in this one, but for me the best scene of the three. In the “extra” scenes, Rick Allen sucks himself.

Third Degree – No pretext of a story here. We jump right back to the “walls-covered-in-stone” playroom for the action. Cole Tucker (never been a big fan) makes a pig of Zeusboy Robert Black, who seems strangely detached throughout this scene.

What does this DVD have in common with the curriculum of a Fine Arts major in college? NO CHEMISTRY! The humiliation/degradation in these scenes is relatively mild. So those not into that sort of thing, fear not. But the problem for me is even the basic sex scenes are somehow not very exciting. The pairings just don’t seem to cut it. Even in a DVD like this with some degree of abuse or humiliation, somebody ought to at least seem to be enjoying the party a little. Except for Rick Allen, this doesn’t seem to be the case. And after recently watching a bunch of Titan DVDs, some of these guys seem, at least for me, a bit less worthy. Yes, the dildo sequences are good and there are some really nice money shots (particularly Rick Allen in the second vignette). But not quite enough for me to recommend this DVD.
