18 and Still In School 5: Babysitter Learns a Lesson Review

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

Initial Expectations: Although they’ve had some faults, there’s been enough good about what I’ve seen of the DVDs from Pixie’s Emporium that I look forward to every one I watch.

Initial Reaction: Although it has some nice camera work, the action is some of the worst I’ve seen from Pixies.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: For an amateur feature, the audio is pretty average. There’s a bit of background noise and it’s a little off balance, but most of it is about what I expect from an amateur movie. The worst thing about the audio is that you can hear the cameraman giving the girls directions now and then. The video varies a little. It’s very nicely lit and only has a little camera shake, but there’s also some badly noticeable pixelation which rears its ugly head now and then.

Music: There’s a little music at the start of each scene, but that’s about it. Most of each scene doesn’t have anything for music.

Disc Complaint: There’s a watermark in the lower right corner of the screen. I mention it here because I know that a lot of people really hate watermarks. On the plus side, it’s clear and it stays there consistently throughout the feature so that you can put it out of your mind fairly easily.

Menus: The menus are simple but extremely fun. I love the main menu, which is unanimated but fits Pixie’s attitude and spirit, as well as the title of the movie, so amazingly well that it put a smile on my face right away. The chapter menu is also nicely done, and lets you choose a scene based on small clips and stills from each scene and a title for each scene.

The Feature

Scene 1 - A blonde girl and a brunette girl

A girl with her dark hair pulled back into two pigtails starts things out getting undressed with the babysitter on the couch. They break out the baby oil and suck each other’s tits before working their way a little further south. They each take a turn on the couch and then move to the floor to sixty-nine before the blonde breaks out a strap-on. The brunette goes right to work on it orally before turning around and taking it from behind on the couch. They also fuck a bit on the floor before stopping quietly, getting dressed, and leaving.

This is an okay scene at best. The one girl really overdoes the vocals, which held the scene back a lot for me. The action was also off a bit. I don’t want to say that it was forced or uncomfortable, but the girls just didn’t look natural. This often happens with younger performers, but it didn’t feel like the first time jitters here.

Scene 2 - An older guy, the blonde, and the brunette

Things move to the bedroom next where the girls take on an older guy. They strip down and explore each other a little before the girls take turns sucking his cock. They also give his nipples a little attention before the brunette hops on to ride the guy in both cowgirls. The blonde takes it doggie style next before the brunette takes a bit more missionary style. They all fuck and mix in a bit more oral until the brunette works the guy over with a good handjob. He might have hit her with a facial if she hadn’t moved so fast, and instead gives a good pop on her shoulder and the blonde’s tits. The blonde shows a little bravery by even sucking out the last few drops from the guy.

This is an okay scene. The brunette rarely looks like she’s really enjoying herself, but she does look very experienced. She doesn’t have any problem taking on the blonde, who looks like she’s doing okay but isn’t used to it, and the guy, who has some wood problems throughout the scene. She doesn’t bat an eye at sucking him a bit more in the middle of the scene to get him hard enough to fuck and despite being cumshy, makes this scene work out alright in the end rather than flopping. Although the blonde lacks a bit throughout the scene, you can see some noticeable improvement throughout the scene as she catches on.

Scene 3 - The blonde

The blonde finishes things up with a bonus lesson, which she handles by herself. She strips and rubs herself down with baby oil before diddling herself gently. She starts out using her fingers on her pussy before pulling off her panties and grabbing a toy. She works her pussy over with the toy until the scene comes to a close.

This is easily the best scene in the movie. The blonde starts things off a bit shy and unsure, but after a couple minutes falls right into the groove and barely even seems to know that camera is there. She shows off all the potential one would hope she had, and makes this a great scene.

Babysitter Learns a Lesson leaves a bit to be desired. Unlike most of what I’ve seen from Pixie’s Emporium, there’s no setup scenes here. The setups from Pixies’ films were a big part of why I took such a quick liking to them as they were always fun and started the scenes with a great spirit. The lack of the fun setups started this one off a little lower than normal for me. Sadly, the action didn’t pick things up to go past the lack of setup except for the final scene which I found very enjoyable. It often seemed forced (as in somebody trying too hard, not by having a stagehand with an MP5) and the chemistry which normally engages me in amateur scenes barely showed up. The girls are cute and put some okay energy into things, it’s just that nothing really came together to hold my attention. Babysitter Learns a Lesson left me wondering who was supposed to learn the lesson, the viewer or the people in the movie.

The Extra Stuff

The only extra is a commercial for Pixie’s Emporium. As far as I know it’s the only commercial for them, but if you haven’t seen the commercial it is nicely entertaining (and features the magnificent Mandi*!).

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many DVDs from Pixie’s Emporium can be found online for around $13. This is a bit high for me, as the action seemed to lack passion most of the time. The technical aspects were also a bit weak and there weren’t any extras. Fans of barely legal girls, however, might find this one worth their money.

Note to Pixie’s Emporium: It’s nice to see a bit of variety from you even if this one didn’t quite work for me.
