  First of all, if it's just a case damaged why does the buyer get a full refund? A new case costs how much? 50 cents? A dollar? I've never heard of a full refund because a case is damaged. When it happens with CDs there's always the option to just send out a new case unless it's a fancy or unique case not easily replaced. Second, if he's being issued a full refund shouldn't you have the right to get the DVDs back? None of this makes sense at all. I hope ADM takes another look at it. The only possible thing I can think of that happened here is that the buyer has (mistakenly or not) reported both DVDs as damaged. Even so, I would think you should be able to get them returned to you before he gets his money back. Otherwise it's a free ride for...

  The unique titles are mainly classics from the 1980s. Titles they mark as "PKG: Excalibur Films" are things they have transferred from VHS tapes to DVD and those are usually only available on DVD from them. The quality is basically the same as a VHS tape so be aware of that. Don't expect a newly remastered transfer from the original source because that's not what these are. Sometimes one of these movies on Excalibur DVDs is later officially released by the studio and in those cases you'll want to make sure to rent the official release as the quality there will always be better, but most of the time the Excalibur DVD is the only way to get this movie.   I filled out a new ticket a few days ago for a seller that never sent anything out from my order and this time got a refund in about two days. That's similar to how ADM customer service used to be. That implies things are getting better or have returned to the way they were. There are some great sellers on ADM but also a good number of flaky or totally unreliable sellers there too. It's really important that ADM customer service is rock solid so you can buy with confidence that you won't be ripped off no matter who you buy from.

  I finally got my refund. This was better than the previous case where I had to write 7 or 8 times and it took about 2 months to get a refund. This time it took two weeks. It's an improvement, but nothing like customer service at ADM used to be.

  You understate the problem. ADM's customer service in its current state is enough to make one never do business there again. Even in obvious cases of fraud one has to write email after email and nag for weeks in order to get a refund. Even though I have been a longtime good customer and spent a fairly large amount of money purchasing through ADM after my last customer service experience I decided I was done with ADM. Recently I gave it another shot, placed a large order and am now going through the same Bullshit as before. I have a case of obvious fraud (seller advertised as new what was in fact a cheap DVD-R copy with home printed artwork) and I'm still waiting for a refund despite two emails to ADM customer service.   Bad seller means a seller who neither sent out the movie nor responds to email. That's why you have to take it up with ADM customer service. They used to take care of such situations in a timely and professional manner. I have no idea what's going on with them now. The movie I bought was $18 plus shipping. Don't see why I should have to eat the cost of that.

  Anyone else notice a severe decline in customer service at ADM? In the past when you ran into a bad seller they would issue you a refund in 2 or 3 days. At worst they'd tell you it would be coming at the start of the next month. I've now filled out approximately five tickets for a movie I bought from seller "WantedList" that never arrived. Most of the tickets went unanswered. Finally one ticked got a response giving the seller two days to respond or a refund would be issued. 2 weeks has gone by since then and there's been no refund or response to my followup email stating it's been well over 2 days. I used to feel that you could buy with confidence from ADM, but not anymore. 5 tickets, numerous emails, and several weeks passed by...

  At Bushdvd, long wait means they don't have the movie and they're very unlikely to get it again. You may as well just remove those titles from queue. Short wait means all copies are rented by other customers and when one is returned you or someone ahead of you will get it. A high percentage of the short wait titles do become available but a few never do. I have no complaints about Bushdvd provided you understand that long wait means forget about it. Just stick to short wait and available titles. Wanted list is pretty hopeless. The only status that means anything there is "available." Short wait really means it's never going to be available. xrentdvd has the biggest selection and good availability of titles. No complaints about the...

  That explains some of it, but lots of the out of print titles aren't by Brandon Iron. Tear Me A New One 1 and 3, Cum Guzzlers 3 and 4, Send It Down 1, 1 Lucky Fuck 2 are just some of the titles I wanted but aren't available anymore. I don't buy ninja1's explanation. If they can't sell enough of those titles then what can they sell? Those are popular titles and themes. Glad to know that GSOI and Baker's Dozen will be re-released. I'm surprised you didn't start with those series as they are the ones you're best known for.

  Why are so many titles from Platinum X discontinued? Major series like Good Source of Iron, Baker's Dozen aren't for sale anymore. Other series like Cum Guzzlers and Tear Me A New One have many out of print volumes. This just scratches the surface of what they've stopped production on. What is going on with this company and why would they stop selling so many popular titles?

  Can someone tell me the difference between long wait and very long wait? With either of these does xrentdvd have any copies at all of the movie (rented out obviously)? With Bushdvd I know that long wait means they don't own any copies and you have to wait until they purchase additional stock if they so choose. But with xrent there's long wait and very long wait so what do those mean specifically.
