  Hopefully nobody ever took our X-Play parodies too seriously. We took making them very seriously and we wanted every detail to be as spot-on as our skill level would allow but we never lost the point that what we were ultimately doing was goofy and silly. The point was to bring classic TV into the porn world and make a few people laugh along the way and I'm pretty sure we did that and still continue to do that. For those that are anti-parody there is nothing we could ever do to please those folks so we didn't try. What pissed me off along the way was a number of companies 'phoning it in' that is going for the fast buck and making an inferior product with a glossy box sleeve in an attempt to confuse the customer.   Declining sales has very little to do with lighting, boring concepts, the economy, bad camera angles, unimaginative directors or too many parodies (well that last one has a little something to do with it) but declining sales has everything to do with free porn. That is all you need to know and the fat lady has sung. Hell she's already sung a few show tunes and is prepping her encore but before she comes back onstage and sings again she is getting ready to be gangbanged by 10 white guys and 12 black guys in the greenroom. You can watch it for free I am sure somewhere online. BTW: Most directors would blow you if they could still sell 10K units every time out.   To Torris- Actually director Roy Karch did a parody of Punky Brewster called Funky Brewster back in 1986. I did the music for that movie way back when I lived in Minneapolis. It seems like another lifetime ago and I remember working with this guy that sang like Michael McDonald then of the Doobie Brothers. I think I told Roy that I got Michael McDonald to sing on the theme song track which was pretty funny back then. I think he believed me and I wonder now if I ever corrected that story lol. Yeah there are too many parodies now but what else can be done that hasn't been done? I don't think there is much that can be produced anymore parody or gonzo that will be profitable for very much longer. I think we should be glad that people are still...

  Congrats to Dana for her XBiz nomination for Best Supporting Actress Performance as Miss Jane in Beverly Hillbillies XXX. The girl can act! When Dana was on set for a few days she was absolutely crazy horny on the day she did her sex scene as Miss Jane. I have seen a lot of girls get excited before getting banged but I am telling you this girl was salivating and dripping down her thighs for a couple of hours before she even got naked. I wish every girl was so excited to get plowed. She was a great addition to the cast and I definitely agree with you that Dana is one of the best.

  You are correct. It is the sequel to the 2010 AVN Best Comedy Flight Attendants. It was shot around the same time and I can let you know that it is actually funnier (depending on your twisted tastes for insults) and a better sex movie. For those of you that enjoyed Flight Attendants you will love the sequel- now it will be called Not Airplane XXX Cockpit Cuties and it will be available for sale in a couple of weeks through Digital Sin. It is always difficult but with the continued success of Flight Attendants in the Adam & Eve Catalog, it didn't make sense to put the movie out. Now it does and of course some will think it is a repackage of the same movie but I can assure you it is a new story, new sex, new fun. I will have a trailer release...

  Piracy, business in transition and Den retiring. What a year! I will always be grateful for Den for recognizing the work we did at X-Play back when we were just figuring it all out with Britney Rears. We keep his awards in our office and display them proudly for the cute girls that mistakenly walk in thinking we are the mainstream Hollywood talent agency down the hall. The first director of the year award I received was from Den and CAVR and that meant a hell of a lot to me and I will always remember that every time he reviewed one of our movies I thought I was in the fucking Olympics lol!   Porn parodies are like anything else: Some are good, some are bad and a some are really good. I will say at least from our perspective at X-Play and sitcums.com it takes an extreme amount of effort and money to do them well. Anybody can shoot a piece of S*%# and put it out there but if you want it to look, feel and sound right it really does take dedication and hard work (and for the parody haters- it does take talent from the producers the director and the actors although you will never agree with that lol). I don't understand the complete hatred for the genre by many of you but I support your right to voice your dislike of them. I agree there are way too many of them out there and I have seen a ton of them from many companies and many are...

  Hustler released This Ain't Charmed XXX recently. I have yet to see it but I have it at home. BTW: I live on the same block as the house they used for the exteriors of the TV show Charmed. I used to see the girls all the time for a number of years when they would shoot there. I also live directly across the street from the Michael Jackson Thriller house so I am surprised I am not really into horror style movies. Apparently I am into whores but not horrors.   I understand your complaint. The sad fact is that there are only a few directors and producers that really go the extra mile needed to make a realistic and enjoyable parody experience. The glut of really shitty ones have made it more difficult for the audience to actually know which are the good ones. A bunch of companies took great shows and did quick attempts at weak parody not really caring about the look, the script, the characters, the sets, the clothes, the music or the overall quality rather than spend the money, time and effort required to make if fantastic. Now if those other guys were trying then my apologies to them but some of it fell flat. Now this is not the entire list of good/great work but I like some of Axel Braun's movie...

  Actually Dracula, there is a lot of script writing that takes place in our parodies and features and also in many other feature productions by others. I also know of many parodies that are barely 12 pages long so I guess it goes both ways. Our scripts tend to run long (30 pages) compared to most parodies but I like to tell a story and entertain. Not Charlie's Angels XXX which comes out in September from X-Play/New Sensations is 35 pages long. Not Mash XXX is 31 pages long and really funny but we needed the words to adequately tell the story and show the personalities. I always prefer to have a cast read-through in my office the week before we start shooting because it just makes the movie flow much better and gives the actors a chance to u...

  Hello Oneking, I think some people wrote some pretty good responses to your question. Like Hollywood, this is a really small community but unlike Hollywood we tend not to outsource a lot of things. I can only imagine how many email requests a company like Vivid or Wicked get for script writing or people looking to break into the industry because I have a small company (X-Play and sitcums.com) and we get quite a few. It is not impossible however to get in but you do have to know somebody. I don't read any outside scripts but that is mostly because I just don't have the time plus I enjoy writing them myself which gives me more confidence come time to direct as I know the story word for word and when you are trying to finish a full 35 page mov...

  Chanel just shot for us and was great in our Mash parody Not Mash XXX. It was the first time I have worked with her and it won't be the last because not only is she hot as hell, but she is quite cool also. Just a great girl- easy to talk to and fun to be around. She was a lot of fun at the XRCO Awards the other night too and looked great. Here is a little secret: In our movie, her character Nurse Jennifer bangs Radar and although I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, she made Radar cum 5 times while they were boning in the nurses tent. I'll get Bobby to put some photos up soon.
