  Umm i'm not sure about this but most couriers require a signiture right? Well if they dump parcels on your doorstep without your signiture, (and it goes missing) then doesn't it make them liable for the cost of the parcel? I mean you didn't sign it so you therefore didn't personally recieve it so the courier, to the best of your knowledge, still has it and either should deliver it or pay the cost of the parcel and the delevery fees. Anyway even if you do find it after they dump it on your doorstep you should feel free to ring up the courier company and berate them for doing so. It works wonders for that bottled up stress (and you in the right to so they really have nothing to say in their defense). Edited by - Will on Apr 16 2002

  I'm probably going to get a bit of flack from this way of thinking but, If you went to the Red Cross and offered to donate blood and they said no because of whetever reason then I don't see why it should be on your conscience. I agree that it's a rather sterotypical rule and well.. stupid.. and I don't understand why the Red Cross doesn't take the blood and have it tested later in one of those 6 months batch periods. (or does blood 'go bad' and expire? i'm not sure.) I'm sure they would get more sample of clean blood than unclean samples that way. Oh well.
