  People don't want to accept the hard reality that a lot of "fun" stuff is probably going to have to go away, possibly for years. Sports, casinos, movie theaters, concerts, beaches all really need to be put on the back burner for a while.

  Well, I started this thread (13 years ago, wow) and my perspective hasn't changed, pit bulls aren't the problem, people are. I used to live in Nevada, which doesn't allow BSL. Now I live in metro Denver, where they are supposed to be banned but from what I can tell the ban is largely ignored in practice. I still say people, not dogs, or any breed of dog, are the problem

  Message boards like this are dying. I was active here and on other boards 10+ years ago. Now I only check boards like this rarely. I see traffic here and elsewhere in similar formats has slowed considerably. Social media is the dominant format now. I would like to kick that to the curb also
