  well I hope so, it's becoming worse and worse. Aside the Survivor Pearl Island and All Stars, and the first Apprentice, the rest isn't really worth it and is just there because it's cheap and people see it. Seriously, I don't think they'll disappear anytime soon, we might be stuck with those for a decade or so...

  actually it's something I have wondered too driven. Not so much about the difference in timing to pop, but more on the sensation part.   I don't have any real method. It really depends if I'm looking for something in particular or not. If I do, I'll often look around here and read reviews among the genre of DVDs I'm interested in. And then I'll go out and shop around, see if I can find it used or on sale. If not, and am only looking through the shelves, well it's a whole other thing. Either I'm looking for something from studios I know and have bought before and have liked (like Kick Ass Pictures, which is usually around the same style with ever Andre Madness title) or will look for girls I know/like/or want to discover. If nothing like that seems too suitable, then I'll just randomly pick something in the sale/used section that may seem appealing.
