I remember buying "Black Beauty" on VHS from CDI, and thinking, that's better than usual. Then I realized it wasn't Ron Jeremy directing but Stagliano. Granted, it was still so-so, but for a late 80's CDI production, it was watchable.

It's a parody of buddy cops TV shows from the 80's (with matching music !). It is really entertaining and funny, so far. I guiltily admit I've popped one after the third scene, so I haven't watched it entirely yet. I saw the trailer in "Burnt Fury", a recent Vivid release. It looks entertaining, with great production values, although some of the comedic effects are drawn out. The trailer was too long, btw. It was like I had already seen the movie.

I've only seen "Rebelle Rousers" because I'm gay and so far, it's their only release which featured my kind of men, and it was the best porn movie I've seen in a long time. I would say vignettes, with gusto and lots of talent. But I don't think the rest of their releases can be described as vignettes. Go to their website and check their trailers, it should give you an accurate idea. As far as I know, they're all scripted.
