I know we're visual people and porn fans are even more into visuals than the average person, but aren't we being way too caught up on what the performers do with their bodies? I'm guessing the ladies don't enjoy people posting negative comments about their life choices. They're not indebted to us and owe us nothing. It's no wonder that after a while many performers stop posting in their own ADT threads. people watch what gets them off plain and simple.their life choices are theirs and nobody cares.viewers just move on to the next "it" girl.this is a business and not an art. well n...

No doubt the new implants look great.but it was her cute petite figure that set her apart from all the other girls and sadly now she looks just hot like all the other girls.she totally lost that "je ne sais quoi" about her.too bad,she could have been up there with Jenna Haze _
  • what major chg will occur in Porn Industry in 2011 12/23/2010 3:12:02 PM
well maybe not next year but over the next few.the industry sure is stubborn as they fail to see the behavior on pirated downloads.pricing format needs to change, the monthly subscription format is dead.people pirate this material because they can get a scene from brazzers and a scene from kink and one more from bangbros which would be impossible to do under the current format websites operate on. in other words, you can lead a horse the water but you can't make the horse drink it.

  • Will we see a porn version of iTunes? 2/16/2010 3:59:58 PM
I remember talking about this very topic here.and yes, I agree with Master D. the industry is changing,"porn cards" will take the industry to another level.there will be a lot of these "I porn stores" and quality will improve overall.expect independent producers and amateurs to take a big slice of the porn pie.
  • Why porn is dying 1/20/2010 8:01:18 PM
I think the focus should be directed on the forums, torrent sites, newsgroup hosts and p2p who make it easy for anyone to share pirated content with people they don't even know.since the days of the VHS tapes, content as been ripped but piracy was contained because of the inability to share it with 1000's of people.the government and laws must acknowledge that this isn't 1990 and that times have change and that tolerating this kind of abuse of technology must stop. it's hurting businesses and it's unfair to those who produce the content.

DK just asked a great question and lilacwine made an excellent point. there are more companies so your share of the pie gets smaller and lack of creativity and vision will hurt any company. the article mentioned girlfriends films has actually seen an increase in sales.I don't usually watch girl/girl because it seems so fake but I love their stuff, specially the "Mother-Daughter Exchange Club" series.their videos are credible and very sensual and hot,I actually watch the whole thing without using the fast forward button. so, if you want a bigger slice of the porn pie,it would be a good idea to arouse our brains as well.
  • Why porn is dying 1/13/2010 4:08:24 PM
This is such a complex topic.the porn industry is like a battalion being attacked from all sides at once.In my personal opinion I see 2 options. 1.)the industry continues its path, allowing piracy to chip away at their earnings and waits to see what happens. 2.)the industry gets tough and mounts an offensive against piracy while there's still money to lobby Washington to pass tougher laws while suing and taking down websites pirating their content so aggressively and costly to them that its no longer worth doing it. there will always be demand for content, always.but I feel the industry is going thru a transition,a re-invention if you will.that may lead if not to a smaller industry, but maybe smaller companies specializing in certain niches.

Photographers and videographers who are spending a week building lighting units, aren't spending that week shooting, and are working with equipment of 'questionable' value. Sure, some people are experts at McGyvering things together, but a good HD camera *still* runs nearly $3000. People who cut corners, are people who cut corners. They don't just cut corners with equipment; they do it with talent, they do it with editing, they do it with paperwork, etc etc. The issue really is that consumers want Rolls Royce porn for Yugo prices. They'll either have to decide they're happy with Yugo porn, or that they're willing to pay f...

Why bother for that little when you could just escort? wow $300? that's bad. but i would be surprised if escorting "salaries" don't go south as well.with people finishing high school or college and unable to find a job will certainly overflow the market. and we all know what happens when there's an excess of "inventory".add clients losing their jobs and unable to hire an escort. too many escorts + not enough clients = less money is bad all over and this has ...

well, yes .99 for a scene and 3.99 for a feature download were suggested to brainstorm a little on the future of the industry. I agree those prices are not reasonable but not impossible. as a photographer I can tell you how cheap it is today to come up with a high end product with less than $2,000 including the camera.5-6 years ago you would have to spend $600 plus on a beauty dish.now you can make one for less than $30 and using your flash instead of expensive dedicated flash units.the DIY movement in photography that I have seen in the last 3 years is now making is way into video.so achieving the look of 30k worth of equipment with a few hundred dollars is now possible. the cost of talent will continue to decline because with less jobs av...

the biggest factor in the decline of the industry has to be 1.the economy 2.piracy the economic downturn began in early 2007 when the housing boom went bust along with everything else including porn. personally I began renting and buying less and less in late '07.as we stand now most of what I watch is from the library of titles i purchased prior and have become very picky about what I purchase today. unemployment among 18-25 year old's is between 20-25% so there go your new customers.and when it looks like this recession is likely to turn into a depression, well,we don't need to tell the industry how much worse it's going to get. I believe that half the industry won't see the recovery.if you were getting paid $1200 per scene and now you hea...

you're better off on the web, since nobody want to put anything rough on DVD. maybe the facial abuse website will work for you.
  • Rodney Moore - still relevant? 2/22/2008 1:40:35 AM
I agree with skronker when he said that Rodney does not hire the girls with the amateur look anymore, which was one of the reason why I really liked his stuff. another thing that made his videos so special, was the fact that a lot of the girls he would hire never did another porn video again or weren't seen anywhere else but on Rodney's vids. maybe he just got a little lazy and just goes straight to the model agencies.
