    There is an interesting discussion on camera about this very topic among the cast members in Chemistry #2. It seemed that in that group of people, they were split: some of them kissed, some of them didn't. I think it truly is a personal preference for performers. Some find it "too intimate," while for others, it totally depends on the person they are working with. It's important for me that I cast people in scenes who enjoy working together, but that's not the case with every director, and people flake, so sometimes the best laid plans get side tracked. I agree with Jack's comments, when there is kissing and heat, it can make the scene sizzle.
