Katja, Yes we knew about it. They actually contacted us about using our movies. Funny thing is the set designing actually had a copy of "Crack Addict," (which features your ass, too) and was a big fan of the movie so they contacted us about using our films in the movie. Once we got the call, we signed a release and gave them a big box of porn. We also had Greg at ZT fill out a form (we share a building) and threw in some ZT movies, too. Mike, I've never had a problem with anyone at AVN. I truly like everyone that I have met at AVN (you included). That's my personal feeling. Professionally, and I speak for all of us when I say this, we all feel quite disrespected by not being nominated for best new company. And maybe I saw some of the questions about us not winning best new company in this thread and knowing that we weren't even nominated I might have gotten a little emotional, but c'mon- Ever since that cover, it's like AVN almost had to make a point to shaft us during the next year to not look suspiciously pro-Third Degree because of all the babies out there whining and complaining about us getting a cover. Even when we called to state our case about not being nominated...

Bono-One, I'm not saying we should have won even if we were nominated, but to not be nominated is just a utter slap in the face. It's very tough to launch a company in this business and survive. There were a lot of solid companies that launched in the past year and have made it through the trials and tribulations of a new company. My hat's definately off for all of the nominees. Third Degree wasn't nominated for Best New Company although I firmly believe we should have been (we probably would have lost anyways because we didn't take enough people out to lunch or kiss enough ass). We weren't nominated because we had 4 titles out (basically a month in creation) when the nomination period began last year. Because we had 4 titles released before then, we were automatically considered ineligible even though our first full year in existence overlapped the nomination period by over 90%. If this award was around last year, how could we get nominated for Best New Company with only 4 releases? You can't base a new company on 4 releases. Guys, Our real website is in the process of being built. The one up there is only short-term. We've been around less than a year. We have a library of less than 40 titles so far. There isn't really much you can do until you have a large enough catalog to make things worthwhile. Please be patient. In the meantime, besides back covers, what do you want to see on the site until we get the site constructed? We already put up all pertinent information of each movie (synopsis, cast list, ect) and include pretty girl galleries. We are not putting up any hardcore images until we get the real site up. It's just what the owner wants. By the way, if you click on more information for each title, you will get a larger front cover with cast lists, ect. ...

Bill, Chris shoots camera for a lot of his friends out there, especially all of Danny Case's movies. He has also shot movies for Sammy Six at Zero Tolerance. Even though he's the cameraman for Sammy Six's movies, he is not the director like he is not the director for any of Danny Case's movies. On the movies he doesn't direct, he has no involvement with the production or the direction of the movie. All he is required to do is to show up to set to shoot the movie, while the director is present to put forth their vision on how they want the scene to be shot. Obviously, he does give his imput on things while he is shooting for others so you are always going to see Chris's style come forth in any of these movies. That also goes for Mike Quasar...

Bill, There are many close relationships in the business. Therefore, many times employees are "loaned out" to our friends. For example, there is male talent that is exclusive with one company, but the show up in another company's movie. Same goes with directors and other entities. We have a very close relationships with many companies (Joey Wilson has been around almost 2 decades), as we do with Zero Tolerance. It's the whole Metro outcast thing. We all come from the same place and we obviously have a lot in common and have been close friends for some time. We have used the same directors before we came to where we are today. Joey Wilson was using Pat Myne and Chris Streams at Rosebud at the same time they were shooting for Metro...
