- does anybody buy VHS anymore 9/14/2006 11:23:14 PM I myself prefer tape to DVD. Especially from the golden years. The graininess of the video and the sound of the motors spinning when you fast forward through the boring scenes reminds me of when I first started watching porn. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy DVDs, but to choose the same title on either vhs or DVD; VHS!! I know what you mean by not wanting to trash them, it's almost like throwing away a baseball card collection (even if you don't have any high valued cards). If you find yourself not being able to depart with them, keep me in mind. tinylucky
