I pity the priest or rabbi who has to keep a straight face at the funeral. Meanwhile GFF is currently offering roughly 8 new HD scenes a month and 15 old scenes not in HD (including ones that were filmed in HD). This can't be viable for a $30 a month paysite. I wonder if they've been bought out and they are keeping the site going with whatever they are allowed to upload. Hard to see how else the site could have gone so downhill.

Anyone know why they've stopped putting up archive movies in high definition, and why the AV quality of the standard definition videos they put up is so poor? I loved this site until last summer. They used to put up around 2 archive movies a week plus one recent one. I understand there might be a reason for them putting up less content during Covid but I don't understand how they could have suddenly lost the ability to transfer older movies in HD. They have no problem putting up the newer stuff in 4K. There are a lot of HD movies from GFF still not on the site, or only on it in low definition.
