  Me too, I bought seven of their releases at the time and they're great. I really liked the effort they put into their menu designs and interview segments, which were far more professionally shot than I'm used to seeing from the smaller labels. Better than many mainstream studios in fact.

  I'm surprised to see Barnes and Noble offering China Girl for pre-order, because they're about as mainstream as it gets. They have the Pretty Peaches Trilogy in stock and other VS titles for sale too. My Babyface order arrived safe and sound from ImportCDs, so I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

  I've just ordered Babyface from ImportCDs for only $15, plus $7 shipping to the UK. No idea how they can afford to sell at such a low price and it's the first time I've dealt with them, so I'll see how it goes. Prior to that I ordered directly from VS, until international shipping increased to a flat-rate $16, then I needed to have a re-think. I'll probably order from VS again whenever there are enough titles on my wish list to justify the shipping cost. I ordered my Wild Side DVDs from Amazon France and it's a shame that series ended early; the picture quality and interviews were great. Wild Side pulled the plug due to loss of support from a mainstream French retailer (a familiar story). I bought the Misty Beethoven Blu from Distribpix dur...

  Amazon.com's shipping prices to the UK are cheap enough at $8 for the first disc. Unfortunately they charge full price for VS titles, which means paying additional Customs charges, something I'm not prepared to do. Amazon.com's packaging is also the worst in the industry, with about 50% of the Blu-rays I order from them arriving damaged. They use very thin bubble mailers which offer completely inadequate protection for international shipments. On the other hand their customer service is excellent; they invariably send free replacements and ask me to keep the damaged ones. VS themselves charge a flat rate $16 for international shipping, so it's only worthwhile ordering directly if there are several titles on my wish list. Their packaging is...

  This might be difficult without any names and only vague descriptions, but I'll take a wild guess anyway. The 1st one could be <link> . Parts of the 2nd description (news cast, commercials, dildo contest, yellow top) remind me of <link> , except I don't remember any female news reporters and it certainly wasn't 2 hours long. At least you can eliminate those titles from your search.

  Outstanding news about Babyface. Hopefully we'll also see Baby Face 2 getting the Blu-ray treatment in the New Year, preferably 1 & 2 combined in a single set as VS did with the Pretty Peaches trilogy.

  The Ron Jeremy scene might be from <link> with Lisa Lake and John Holmes. Scenes from that movie definitely appeared in another Diamond Collection comp, and could've been re-used in the one you watched.

  Yes, it would be nice if Distribpix made a high-def tranfer of Fascination. The existing DVD released under their Video-X-Pix banner looks like it was mastered from VHS. Distribpix appear to have original film elements for most of their back catalogue, so I was hoping to see more titles remastered and made available, if not on Blu-ray then streamed via Exploitation.tv

  There's a scene almost exactly as you described in <link> with Christie Ford and Ron Jeremy. The only detail where you might be mistaken is that Ron's mother wasn't in the same apartment building, otherwise your description is an exact match.

  Looking forward to anything Vinegar Syndrome have to offer because they usually do such an amazing job. I read somewhere that VS have the original negative and rights for Alex DeRenzy's Baby Face 2, which has only been available in a cut version for many years now, so to see a pristine, uncut remaster on Blu-ray would be amazing. Hopefully they also have rights and source material for the original Baby Face, although I've yet to hear confirmation of that. The Young Like It Hot is my favourite of their Blu-rays so far. I love that film and Hyapatia. Generally a fan of Bob Chinn's work too. Apart from that, I also have the Pretty Peaches and Sex World limited edition Blus, Corruption and several of their DVD releases. I'm undecided whether to...
