  Shame. I thought this was a genuinely intriguing avenue of discussion. I'd love to know how a porn star relates to the presence of a camera - do they see it as a seducer? A voyeur? A lover? Does it make them slightly self-conscious, or does it unlock something inside their psyche? Are there ways of 'working' the camera (in the way that Monroe mastered way back when) - or is it, as Dave seems to suggest, just a fuck?

  I think this is a really intriguing point. I haven't been able to watch a Lea De Mae scene since she passed on, but I can still be entertained by Marilyn Monroe without once thinking of mortality. Somehow it seems slightly disrespectful to watch a porn scene with a recently departed star, almost as if their passing brings to the surface all that dumb, residual guilt you usually suppress.

  Personally I really like the Pornochic series from Marc Dorcel, an upmarket Euro series (usually around six individual stories per disc) with the emphasis on classy honeys. It also delivers good, hard fucking, and reminds me a little of Private in their prime. Private do a vignette series called Private Reality - it's variable, but occasionally you strike gold.
