@Flash I think maybe you just didn't understand their position. I had a similar situation with XonAir about a year ago that wasn't their fault but they took care of me. I had pre-ordered Pirates Vol. 2: Stagnetti's Revenge for like 28 or 30 bucks I think and then when it was released they contacted me and let me know that the studio just let them know they were only going to release it as a 4 disc set instead of a 2-disc set so the new price was $69 as their cost had increased significantly. I was a bit frustrated but at Digi Playground, not with them because XonAir didn't decide ti change it. DP did. I think they're fine. When my brother studied abroad in Italy last year I used to send him "care packages" that I'd pay for and they'd ship to him since i've been a customer for a few years and i don't think he ever had any problems with the half dozen or so packages i sent.

Roughly speaking SD video captured in AVI format is 1.9GB per about 9min and 36sec of footage captured uncompressed. BigBob is right...always capture in max resolution for later use. You can use a program like Sorenson Squeeze or Cleaner XL (there are dozens of other) to compress the full res clip to an optimized youtube format like h.264 which will give it the option to be viewed in high quality. If you're editing it. Still render it out in full res uncompressed or with a good DV AVI Codec and then use either one of the programs I mentioned or the editing program itself to render out a smaller sized version for upload to youtube.
