  I vividly remember my parents going to a party somewhere which meant I was left on my own overnight for the first time ever. I’d found a VHS tape in the back corner of my older brother’s wardrobe months earlier but had had no opportunity to check it out until then. Memories of the movie itself are a little fuzzy but I think it was called something like The Erotic Adventures Of The Three Musketeers. There was a scene that started with an older woman asking one of the guys if he remembered a young girl from years earlier (obviously referring to herself) and then adding a line I don’t think I’ll ever forget: “you deflowered her”. Later when I moved away to college my friends and I would pool our money and buy movies (dodgy pirated VHS copies)...

  I think you might be thinking of the final scene from the 2001 movie Edge Play from VCA. It stars Marilyn Chambers in a group scene with Bruno SX, Dale DaBone, Marty Romano, Tyce Bune and Valentino.

  Kylie Ireland has, I fear, retired from performing but her IR scenes are still amazing. White Mommas 2 and Chasing The Big Ones 11 are both great.

  I'm probably in the minority here but I can't stand gaping. Plus its OK in gonzo movies where its all about "the old in and out" but I hate cutting between different positions in full flow in either a plot-based movie or a themed scene - I much prefer a little conversation and seeing the position change more naturally. Also - this is more of a retro one - but I could never understand why the final scene is so many older movies is a fairly boring straightforward strip tease. I mean, we've just seen half a dozen scenes of couples and groups going at it full throttle and now we're supposed to get turned on by a girl slowly getting naked? It works fine to build up to the first scene but not the last - IMHO of course.

  Hi Kylie I just thought I'd throw in a little extra praise for The Whore Next Door. I actually bought the R18 version before I realised that cuts were made for its DVD release here in the UK. Lord knows what hit the cutting room floor but it must have been phenomenal. In my personal opinion - for what its worth - I think the point at which you join the Manuel / Roxanne twosome to make it a threesome could be the greatest single moment to happen in porn in the past 10 years. I find it illustrates perfectly everything that I love about truly great on-screen adult entertainment - a mix of pure animal passion and unadulterated fun. I can't wait to check out Mommy Rearest and Twisted as Fuck (if I can stop UK Customs from commandeering every cop...

  I've ordered from Action before - admittedly a while ago - with no hassle whatsoever (although I do object to their charging a reletively hefty amount to ship artwork along with discs internationally). Coincidentally I ordered from them last Saturday (also to the UK) and got email confirmation of shipping within 24 hours. Please let us all know when your package arrives and I will do the same.

I thought I should everyone know that I received my order from Adult DVD Explorer over the weekend in perfect condition with no problems. In fact considering this was a transatlantic delivery it actually arrived in fairly good time.

  Weird?!? I just tried mine again and still blank. However when I added a new item the entire list popped up but when I deleted the title again it went back to blankness. Must be a glitch either with my computer or account. Thanks for the feedback. tdp

  I agree with the previous psters' point. It was good to be able to view the prices for DVDs (I never ahd a problem with this being the New DVD price) on any search pages. It allowed a much easier surfing of the DVDs I was looking for.

  I visited NYC a couple of months back and, using this thread for advice, visited the 300 DVD store. I was most impressed with their selection, organisation and price.

  Bad Wives was a DVD I was really interested in watching when I first read about it but the DVD was absolute rubbish. I think multi-angle is a great idea when its just that - the same action captured from the various angles so that you can flick between them and see what's going on (Shayla's Web is the best example of it that I've seen). However what really annoyed me was how the multi abgle on a liot ofg early Vivid stuff is just random footage from the scenes slammed together in a random order. Really really annoying IMO.

  They are the kind of movies that appear to fit in exactly with the kind of stuff I like - lesbian dirty-talking strapon stuff with a rough edge - but every time I've purchased one I've been disappointed. I think the Hilary Scott volume lasted all of 6 minutes before I started spinning forward.

  Definitlely my fave too. I love a lot of her all-girl work - especially with Janine and Julia Ann in Where The Boys Aren't 6. I just wish somone would release her Cellar Dwellers 2 scene on DVD. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

  I've bought a number of Vivid comps in the past - especially when I was finding my feet in the adult DVD world. I found it a very efficient way of getting specific stuff on the stars I liked. There is a &quot;bang for your buck&quot; argument here I feel. If you've seen one or two Dyanna Lauren scenes, for instance, its a lot more cost effective to buy 1 $5.95 comp from Five Star with 20 scenes than 10 individual movies where she might only appear in 15 scenes across all the films. However what I do object to is the false advertising - or maybe false representation - of comps. ie a line that purports to a be a 4hr featuring a particular star and yet they only appear in one out of every 3 scenes - or in my worst case scenario in just 1 scen...
