And not to split hairs, but I think you are mistaken about who, when and why someone can file a workplace injury report with CAL-OSHA. Check out the special OSHA website adult industry page. I could purchase a video today that shows a bloodborne pathogen exposure,(lets say a cumshot in the eye) that has production dates, and forward it to OSHA, and an OSHA official could check their records to see if any report was made regarding the incident in question.   I think it would be fair to say that AIM does not clear people or give people permission to work. AIM merely notifies concerned individuals of the most current test date and the results of those tests. It is up to the individual talent and producers to then make the decision to use a particular person or not. AIM does not give people permission to work or prevent people from working. AIM is not an evforcement agency. Kind of like the FOX NEWS slogan "WE (aim) report, YOU decide>" I also think that the reason so much of this gets laid at AIMS door is because there is NO TALENT ORGANIZATION at all in the industry. And that is because the last thing any producers,agents or direcors want is for the talent to be organized in any way. ...

  And it is a fact that California law does and will continue to forbid occupational testing for HIV. While it would still be possible under such a scheme for partners to test voluntarily and show their tests to each other voluntarily, any producer who required them to do so would be subject to severe legal consequences, leaving performers once again completely on their own to decide when, where, how frequently to test and under what circumstances to reveal the results. This was essentially the situation prior to 1997 that led to the first HIV outbreak in the industry..   The real resposibility lies not only with this individual, but with the companies that continue to hire him, and the performers who continue to work with him. Any time this person is hired, the production company has the duty to inform the other performers of this guys situaltion so they can make an INFORMED decision. If they keep this info form the other performers I can only imagine what the legal liability would be. How many performers would work with anybody that they knew was having sex with an HIV+ person? This person is obviously willing to put everyone and anyone at a risk level that is much higher than what is already a very hihg risk occupation. And the companies that hire him are also willing to put the perfomers at this incre...
