Sometimes I feel sad about my life. I worry about relationships gone sour. I worry that I will die alone and lonely. I'm an only child; parents dead and estranged from the rest of the family. One paycheck away from homelessness On my thrice weekly run I pass a man about my age who is homeless. That could be me. On the other hand none of those worries have come true at this point so it's not so bad. Other times I feel spoiled and lucky. I'm sure some do. There are different levels of regret, and it may vary from minute to minute. I regret having done some things, regret not having done others. Some things I'm glad I did and also regret doing them. Few if any; will emotionally scar me for life. We just try to deal with the consequences of our actions
