Why should I have to rely on some "industry standard" to do that in my place. A most cogent post! I'll try to respond to some of your points. Like this one above: if one is a pedophile, then the choice is made for you. If you live in certain states of the Union where obscenity laws are more stringent, the choice is being made for you, either by local law enforcement or by companies who refuse to ship to your locale. The choices are being made right now -- I'm saying, let's be professional about it, let's be smart about it, so the whole industry isn't brought down by a bunch of yahoos with ca...

Be thankful the Fed's did not target somebody with a pacifists attitude...someone who would have already plea-bargained, rolled-over, and walked home with their tail between their legs. If Larry Flynt had taken the path of least resistance, most of us working in the industry today would be among the jobless millions. Kudos, I say, to those pushing the envelope. We don't however, find them "obscene" and "trashy". It's just someone's turn on. Be carefull with the obscene and trashy talk. I can pretty much guarantee you that ANY porn that you are watching is something that falls under "obscene and trashy" to ASScroft and his moronic minions. You and your porn may be next. As far a...

Edited by - Tom Byron on 8/8/2003 10:58:56 PM First I have to say that it pains me to disagree with my idol! :) Second, look at Hollywood -- it has policed itself, which has kept the government pretty much out of the business of censorship and prosecuting mainstream companies for "obscene" mainstream films. The system in p...

I'm running OS 9.0.4 on an iMac G3/500; my player is the Apple DVD Player 2.2.1. Have you tried allotting extra memory to your player? Mine has a recommended minimum of 8192K and I've boosted the preferred size to 20000K. BTW, here's a <link> to the old thread. Hey guys-- thanks for initial comments. Regarding exploring the disk and alotting extra memory, I can't even get that far, because right after I stick the DVD in, my Mac asks if I want to format the DVD or eject. Leaves me very little choice! I'm using DVD Player 1.3, because I'm using an ATi car...

Hello, all, posted what ended up being a very spirited thread (mostly pc-vs.mac talk, unfortunately) last year about having trouble with Evil Angel DVDs on my Mac. Now, before it was just the DVDs hung up. Now, two in particular (Ass Collector and Lex the Impaler 2) refuse to even be read. My mac asks if I want to format them. Other DVDs work fine, by the way, but I've had problems with *every* Evil Angel DVD I've purchased. No scratches on the surface, and no hardware changes. OS 9.2. It seems one by one my cherished EA collection is becoming unwatchable. Any other Mac users having problems?
  • ETA on Sodomania .38 Special? 10/24/2002 4:29 AM
Anybody know when Elegant Angel's putting out the 38th edition of this series, with the supposed return of Roxanne Hall? I read Patrick Collins saying that it will be released sometime in October. EA's website is for shit in terms of real information like release dates (they should take a clue from others, like Evil Angel).

Anyone have any information on links on Jewels, a beautiful big-titted woman I recently saw in Whack Attack 14 and Anal Nurses? I think she's a redhead,. She reminds my of a fuller-bosomed Ashley Judd. She has a dirty mouth, too, which I love. Her <link> is here. Edited by - sneakers on Oct 11 2002

Here are some of the tidbits I've noted in the last 20 years: 1) The best machine for the money (accounting for time) was the Atari ST, hands down! It ran all of the Mac stuff, all of the PC stuff, and all of its native stuff. Amazing maching for 1986. Where is it now??? $15 on ebay! 2) The easiest machine to use was the Amiga. Great graphics and everything plug & play. Super fun to program too! Where is it now? In a museum somewhere! 3) The most dedicated user base was the Apple II group. Thousands of devoted fans BEFORE computer was considered a household term. Where is it now? I sold mine last summer, with 200 discs for $25! ...

Now I really do need to get my butt in gear and write up my &quot;Problem DVDs for Macs&quot; thread. Evil Angel DVDs won't be on my list of problem discs, however. I've watched three titles from that studio (Buttman's Toy Stories, Lex the Impaler and Lex the Impaler 2), and I've had very minimal troubles with them. This text from my <link> review summarizes the issues that I typically experience with Evil Angel discs: &quot; The time stamp rarely works on my machine, and I am also unable to exit the photo gallery without ejecting the disc. These problems occur on an Apple DVD Player (version 2.1.1); with other players, they are less like...

All I have to say to you Windoze users is: Like my sex life, when I stick something in a Mac, it always works! Also, like in my sex life, I have yet to catch a virus on my Mac! I use Windows at work, and have used Windows since 3.1, and Macs since 1985. It's been no contest -- Macs rule.

Just got Rocco's &quot;Ass Collector&quot; on DVD. Go out and get this movie! Excellent production value, and hot sex! Anyway (and maybe Tricia can answer this) it seems the only adult DVDs I have problems with on my Mac are Evil Angel DVDs. I haveLex the Impaler 1&2, Ass Worship, Flesh Hunter 2 and now Ass Collector, and every one hangs up and stops at a certain point (right around the middle of themovie, actually) when I fast-forward. I don't have such problems with other adult DVDs. Are EVil Angel DVDs tested on Macs? Do other Mac users experience similar problems? p.s. Evil Angel has the best movies -- but why no previews of other DVD films?
