  The point of view I was trying to express in my post was that although illegal downloading IS theft, maybe it just doesn't matter. I work in the field of creating intellectual property myself and can't help but look at the thing by the numbers. I have another real life example about music. A local artist called HU? released an album here couple of years ago that was massive success. I even think that it sold better than any album has ever sold here. And it was stolen more than any local release before. I think that illegal downloads exceeded album sales tenfold. How exactly is the music industry killed? I live in Eastern Europe.
