- Uk import charges on discs from US 7/25/2010 1:30:04 PM Anything you order from outside the EU is liable to VAT if the total value, excluding postage, is over 18. If this is the case, VAT is charged on the total amount INCLUDING postage. Royal Mail charge an extortionate 8 to collect the VAT on behalf of HMRC. All companies are legally obliged to declare the true value of the package on the customs label (although some don't), so it's no good complaining to DVD Empire. You should probably consider yourself lucky that you haven't been charged before!

- Kickback Redemption Problem 12/5/2006 6:12:41 PM On 20th November I requested a $50 Kickback redemption for Adult DVD Empire. Over two weeks later I have still not received a gift certificate number from them, nor have I received a reply to either of the emails that I sent to kickback@adultdvdtalk.com on 28th November and 1st December. I am surprised and disappointed at the poor customer service that I have received, and I would appreciate it if someone look into this matter for me. Thanks.
